Nice piece to add to a Renaissance ensemble.
I'm 5'5 and about 185lbs, I got the XL size and half wonder if I could've gotten away with the regular one size fits all. I am a 38D though and was worried the regular one-size would've been too tight in the bust and waist. It's a bit long for me and I will need to hem it up so I don't step on it. I purchased this for working at the renaissance fair because they require cotton or linen (more period authentic and breathes better). It has a bit of a lining underneath the skirt, it's not long or heavy material thankfully. I'm pretty happy with this purchase. It is a little sheer, I will either have to wear a bodice over top or a bra underneath as it shown the outline of my nipples. My husband didn't mind that part, but I can't wear it like that to work in.

wow, the best peasant dress on Amazon. it's cotton, and has an extra underneath layer to prevent see through. the dress is thin but well made. it's very long for me,I'm 5'1" and with 4" heels this dress is off the ground by 1 inch.edit: after washing the dress shrunk,and is about 6 inches shorter in length.

I love it so much. Very versatile and nicely flowy. Did not want to risk a too small fit so I got the xlarge. I am a dress size 14 and this was perfect for me.

It is very nice and VERY long. I am 5’9 and this thing reaches all the way down past my ankles. I am using it as a chemise underneath my 18cent costume so I actually had to cut off the bottom tier. Otherwise it was sticking out. If you’re planning to wear it as a standalone dress then it should be fine.

Renaissance Chemise - Peasant Dress Boho Sundress
Love this "chemise" to my irish overdress! I wore it to the Maryland Renaissance Festival recently. It was very comfortable and I appreciated the lightweight cotton throughout the day. (My sister also ordered one, in purple.) Great service!
