Ulysses

Joyce is my favourite writer. Now as a mother of two i hardly find time to read but wordsworth classics offers classics at a reasonable cost with good quality, so it is good purchase.

i have ordered two copies, but received only one copy. but in my account delivery status, it was shown, delivered 2 copies. payment has made on pre order. kindly deliver my other copy too.

It.s just impossible to describe how I felt at the end of this book, it was such a close encounter with these charachters’s feelings, insights, desires & frustrations that there’s a bitter sweet sensation of parting at the end ! Impossible to describe but a jorney worth taking!! Now I understand why Joyce’s novel has been considered one of the best novels of the 20th century!

Read all the classics they said. Get a bit of James Joyce in ya they said. I think you really need to be an English Lit Scholar to get this book. Took me nine months to read this and it was not easy going! Not recommended for a light read. Certainly helped me to sleep on many occasions however.

ジェームズ・ジョイスの、「Ulysses」と言うと、筆者は、Bodley Head の、CORRECTED TEXT と言う、版を、持っている。これは、過去流布版の誤謬を正した版で、ミスプリントだらけの、過去流布版とは、一線を画した物で、ようやく、和訳翻訳の底本として、使える、画期的な版です。　ところで、Wordsworth Classics から、この廉価価格の、本が出た。　そこで、手にしてみたところ、この、Wordsworth Classics の版は、1932年度の、流布版の reprint でした。　これでは、間違いだらけで、文章の意味が、通らないのです・・。　ですから、「Ulysses の正確な版が欲しい」、と言う方には、Bodley Head の、CORRECTED TEXT の方を、お勧めします。　　しかしながら。この、Wordsworth Classics の版も、大学の、学食で「ランチを食べた」と、思えば、その位の予算で、一冊、買える事を考えると、かなり、ヤバいです。　「もし、Bodley Head と、同じ版だったら」とは、思いますが、ＣＰは、最高ですヨ。

Felizmente, apesar da divergência da imagem, a capa que veio é melhor do que a divulgada na imagem do produto. O papel das páginas é bem fino e a capa é bastante frágil. Mas o conteúdo é fabuloso. Há uma introdução interessante antes da narrativa em si.
