As a new parent I was looking around for a Play Mat that was safe for my baby to play on. It is especially hard to convince me to buy a product since I work in the fashion & retail industry and I know about all the chemicals that go into creating such products. I am really happy that I was able to find this mat, it is non-toxic and certified according to US toy standards; also, the cover is made out of vegan leather! – A plus is the aesthetic of it, the solid neutral colors blend seamlessly with our house decor. The mat is foldable, which is great since our little one has taken most of the space in our apartment, at least this piece is something we can easily fold and store when we have people over. Great for tummy time, and will also be great cushioning all those toddler falls coming in a few years.

Amazing play mat! We have been using this play mat essentially every day since my son was a few months old, and it was especially useful when learning to sit and roll because of the thickness and firmness of the mat. He is now over a year and half old and it still looks like new. We have also traveled with it in the car without any problems.I love that is non toxic, excellent quality, no smells, thick, comfortable, reversible, and very easy to clean. It is also easy to fold to clean the floor. Once our children don’t use it, it is practically a work out mat. I wish it would be cheaper but is a great investment.

I brought this mat because it is chemically safe for my kids, especially since I have a 4 month old at home. When I opened the package, I didn't smell any chemicals. It is surprisingly lightweight and thick unlike the other mats I've used. My 4yr old can lift up the mat by herself without having to worry that it'll fall on her. The surface is smooth making it very easy to clean. My mom even commented that she can use it as a sleeping mat since it has good cushion. I live the color, very soft and relaxing to the eyes. Totally worth it!

I got my mat today. The box was completely and utterly destroyed. Held together by tape and not even fully together. A lot of the mat was exposed, part of it even dirty and hard to clean. It’s very disappointing considering I spent so much time figuring out what mat to buy to make sure my child would be safe.Update: the mat cleaned up pretty well and I decided to keep it! Customer service from monomat was great! This mat is the perfect thickness to support my little one but not be so soft as to make mobility hard. Highly recommend!

I searched for hours for a baby mat that was safe and soft, yet firm and landed on the Monomat. I only wish we had bought it sooner. It is great for tummy time, rolling, and sitting practice and very comfortable for parents too. It is versatile and portable around the house and looks nice in the living room. It had no off-gassing scent. Definitely recommend!

Easy to clean, just the right of firmness, comfortable for baby and for us! Tummy time and playtime became more enjoyable because of this mat! Great mat! Easy to clean, thick yet lightweight. Easy to fold if you need to store it. One thing to keep in mind is that the color part doesn’t really matter bc that side will always be the one at the bottom and gray on top.

Love this mat! Super soft faux leather material, with a squishy but not too soft foam. It is however, a tiny bit too thick, as my 7 month old sort of staggers off it as he crawls. But otherwise, I love it so far! The beige is beautiful, and true to colour.
