Gave 4 star because it didn't come with soap as advertised. Other than that my husband is happy with the products received.

The razor will not hold enough edge to shave with. The soap is poor quality that does not make the shave any easier. I think this kit is meant to be decorative, because it is not good for shaving.

Excellent product

The bowl is nice. Thats about it. The soap wont hold moisture when lathered and applied to your face. The strop is to stiff and wont strop properly. The razor is sharp but not shaving sharp.

Bought this as a gift

This is probably one of the worst products I've ever boughten. My husband has stropped it over, and over, and over, he's used different kinds of pressure, different angles, and even tried going against the grain, but nothing he does seems to work. As someone who has used a straight razor in the past I know for a fact that it is not his error, but simply a terrible product. I myself tried this product to no avail. Spend your money someplace else.
