Can this go on top of nozzle that has no threads?

You remove the coned nozzle attached to the waste pipe and push the blanking plug (blue) inside the nozzle. and replace the nozzle to the waste pipe

does this fit over a water butt connection on an outside gutter please to seal the gutter so that it goes down the drain only thank you

It’s not made for water butts, however as it seals water if it’s a tight fit it may we’ll work. It’s worth trying

will it cap a redundant toilet overflow pipe (22mm )?

No sure to be honest. You can get purpose made end stops that are push fit from both Toolstation and Screwfix. Google "22mm plastic pipe end cap" and you should be able to find what you need.

Does this push onto the top or do you have to disconnect and push in the bottom

You unscrew the spigot and fit it inside
