The Girl Code: The Secret Language of Single Women (On Dating, Sex, Shopping, and Honor Among Girlfriends)

I saw Dianne Farr in "Numbers", and i fell in love with this actress's talent! when i learned she wrote this book - i wanted to find it. I am absolutely not a one to read this sort of books (frankly, this one is the Only book of the "girls-sort" :) i have ever read), but i enjoyed every line of it! It is beautifully written and has a lot of things which make you revisit a lot of things in yourself. Girls, get it and read it! and pass it around!

I first learned of GIRLCODE, while I watched the Other Half. Intrigued, I went online and read some excerpts. When I recieved the book in the mail, I finished it in one day. I related to a lot of things in the book. Particularly the names we give crushes(ie; Mr. M, or The Camaro Guy). I reccomend this book to any girl who needs a little comedy.

This was ok, but neither funny not insightful enough to really stand out. And the version I read had tons of distracting typos. But at least it was short.

It made for a few fun evenings with the ladies and a bottle of wine. we read it aloud by the end of the week we each had our own copies and the reading went faster but the giggles didn't stop there. We may try a 2nd reading this summer taking a week long beach trip. This time there will be 5 of us not 4 should be even "more funner".

THE GIRL CODE was my saving grace after calling off a wedding. Newly single and back in the dating scene after 4 years was a bit scary. This book made me laugh out loud for the first time in months. I had a series of bad dates and THE GIRL CODE helped define each situation/guy perfectly. Every single friend I know has received a copy from me. THE GIRL CODE also make a great gift for a bachelorette party. Enjoy!

As a former co-host of MTV's Loveline, Diane Farr has the qualifications to dish out helpful and amusing advice on the opposite sex. In this book, she manages to convey lively and clever tidbits of information about relationships and advice for women on how to play the game. Very cute book, although it was a little less substantial than I would have liked, but still a great little read for the plane or poolside.

Ce livre est vraiment très bien , il nous apprend le code qu' utilisent les femmes entre elles et l' on y apprend des tas de chose , à savoir comment décrypter ces codes .
