Smukke, Big Girls Tween Beautiful Floral Printed Long Sleeves Dresses (with Options), 7-16

I very rarely write reviews but I’m still basking in the glow of the mom-win following this purchase so I thought I’d over-share. I’m not entirely sure how it happened but somehow the two most out-of-touch and banal dressers in American history produced a child with a very deliberate and intentional sense of fashion: she layers, she accessorizes, she considers “textures.” My wardrobe consists of solid tops, jeans and “comfy pants” that I occasionally “dress up” with a necklace I was forced to buy from some other mom’s MLM business. You get the picture. Flash back to 48 hours ago when my child finds out for the first time ever that Picture Day will also be “out of uniform day” and not just a “you can wear jeans day”...She starts going through her closet and realizes that A. We’ve just transitioned into colder weather and B. She grew about 3 inches over the summer. She doesn’t have a single dress she can wear. I promise that I’ll find something for her and she gives me what I call “the look” ...it’s a mixture of appreciation, sympathy and fear. She’s been through this before. I buy something- she hides the cringe with a smile and insists she likes it and wears it because she’s too kind to me. So you can imagine my daughter’s absolute surprise and my sheer shock that I actually nailed it. In less than 36 hours the package arrived just as she was walking in the door. She ran immediately to her room and didn’t come down for a while. I thought for sure she hated it. Nope. LOVED it. I mean on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being “not feelin’ it” and 10 being “really feelin it” this was a 20. She insisted I take pictures (the kind where she doesn’t smile but stares into the camera’s soul) and said things like “Mommy - I can’t believe it, it’s so perfect- the cut, print the fabric!!” SHE LOVES IT. I love that it fits true to size, is age appropriate and has sleeves- why are 99% of little girls’ dresses sleeveless‽

Stylish and beautifulI just love love this dress. Can't believe the quality of work for the price I paid. Has lot of details... Finishing is just impeccable. Sewing is done beautifully on ruffles.It falls right above her knees. She didn't need to size up since it is looser fit. Fabric is like a soft denim material, not thin.My daughter received so many compliments.Quality is like the one from the higher end department store. Its her favorite new dress.

Very cute dress! My daughter normally wears a size 14 in shorts and dresses however this one runs a little small. I would send it back for a size up but she has a dance this Friday that we bought it for so she'll get one use out of it!!

We bought the denim dress in size 16 for my dd who is 5’2” and 100lbs and yes it runs small. I did not like the little mirrors on the dress (i initially thought they were embroidered flowers, the item has been updated with more detailed descriptions of the dresses now). if it fit her better ie a little looser and slightly more length, it would have looked cuter on her, even if it wasn’t the most comfy (she found in scratchy, even after prewashing)

Great dress for tweens. It’s hard finding a modest dress that is stylish enough for tween/young teen. My 12 year old loved this dress. The sleeves are sheer but otherwise the fabric is of nice quality and covers nicely. We bought a size 12 and it fell just above the knees. It went well with ankle boots or so cute flats. She’s worn it several times.

This dress was purchased as a piece for my daughters Halloween Costume. My Daughter wanted to be Dizzy from the Disney show, The Descendants. After not caring much for any of the Dizzy Costumes available anywhere, I figured spending a little extra money for the entire outfit shown would be worth it since each item could be reused including this dress that had a similar fit in the arm of the dress, as well as being a "busy" pattern, as the side by side picture shows. The Dress worked perfect for what I was needing it for as well as a great piece added to her wardrobe for the fall season.

Our granddaughter loves this dress and wears it as much as she can. Great fit. Good material. Well made.Edit: NOT well made. Today I noticed that the buttons are starting to fall off. I'll be sewing them all on again to secure them. Somebody didn't do a good job on these. We could have lost them. Note to manufacturer, check your work before you ship it off.

My daughter loves colors and style of this dress, she even got the same print in a romper. She has been looking for a cold shoulder dress and romper, but could not find one that was too revealing for her age. This dress is trendy, yet not too much skin showing. Totally age appropriate.This is well made. Looks much more expensive than what I paid for, especially with full lining. She absolutely LOVES this dress. So figure flattering.
