Shoots accurate, built like a tank!
Shoots accurate, built like a tank! I a regular recurve and longbow archer. I bought this to keep in my truck or pack wo fear of limbs being damaged in the hot car. This “thing”, “beast” aka AK47 of the bow world is almost indestructible. But it shoots almost as well as my target competition bows. Unlike my other bows this one is always handy in my car for wherever I am to pull it out of its case, set it up, string it n shoot in less than 2 minutes flat. This thing is so dang strong, if after knocking down game w your last arrow you find you didn’t get a clean kill.....use the SAS as a club to humanly put the deer out of its misery. Love this bow. Well thought out. I also have Spectre Nomad, and though I like it, the Nomad’s durability does not compare at all to the SAS!**update**. Forgot to mention the bow shoots off center ie the “Archer’s Paradox”. It is meant to shoot a tad off center, it is the design as it doesn’t have an inlay arrow shelf. After 5 minutes you get used to it! Same as most Indian/Native American bows would be, ie no shelf but an arrow rest. Also when you get you arrows you may need to turn the nick a bit w pliers to make sure your odd colored feather faces out from the bow. Great quality!!

Great Takedown Arrows
Love the quality. Made of high grade aluminum. The perfect arrow for the SAS Survival Takedown Bow.

They do arrow things, mostly
I was ok paying 20 bucks per arrow for the storage convenience/novelty but I've already had one failure with just light target shooting. I'm not ok paying 20 bucks per arrow for a product that can't survive the easiest of conditions.Could be a design flaw or a fluke, who knows but one of the arrows once it hit the target collapsed in on itself. The back half went in to the front half cracking it 4+ inches along the way. I use a proper archery target, the dense foam stuff, so I wasn't shooting at a tree or anything. I didn't hit another arrow either, I wish my aim were that good. I check the tightness on every shot, but its not like it just broke in half. One half literally went inside the other half. They're all treated with great care.I'd give an even lower star rating but it is entirely possible that failure was a fluke and I'm being unfair. If one more fails like that its getting 1 star and a request for a refund for all 6 that I purchased.

Nocks are out of line with vanes
Nocks are out of line with vanes, either way you put it, one vane will be against the bow.Expected better for this price.

Bent arrows that are twice the price they sell for!!
Do not buy these arrows they are bent and will not fly straight. For the high price I thought I would at least get good arrows boy was I wrong. 12 year old boy scouts make better arrows than these save your money and do it yourself!! Horrible quality they destroyed the game getter arrows!!
