Really cute book that is great to read before bed
I adore this book. Each page offers a new, colorful and cute picture with the same cut-out face throughout. There is a variety of pictures with corresponding text. For example, there is a picture of a shrimp with corresponding text "good night, my shrimp". Other pictures include the cut-out face in the middle of the sun or an island bird. One page is a fox and another is lamb. It is a simple idea with simple text, yet there is something about it that is simply adorable! My 8 month old loves it as does my 2 year old.

The book is great. My 20 month old loves reading this before bed and turning the pages. This has quickly become a favorite. Very simple and cute. Highly recommend.

My 1 year old loves this book! I couldn't ...
My 1 year old loves this book! I couldn't get her to sit still and pay attention to other books before, but this one is a quick read and because it's tactile it holds her attention. My 3 year old can also read it to her because she has memorized all of the pictures.

AGAIN?!
My twin girls love this book. The only criticism I have is that the last page says AGAIN!. Well, we're doing nighttime and we don't really want to read it again and again. So, we make something up for the last page. It's a very sweet book though.

Adorable book!
My daughter has always loved this book. The hole in the middle made it easy for her to turn the pages and "read" it at an early age. It's become a favorite gift for new babies too!

My Shrimp?
Good Night! is a delightful little board book that is sure to become a bedtime staple for any young toddler. The pages are sturdy and thick, perfect for young hands to turn. The center features a cut out circle, through which we see the whimsical smiling face of a baby. Turn the page and the baby's face appears in a variety of different creations as the text states the words "good night, my...." We have a wide variety of terms of endearment ranging from my love, my little fox, my dove, my pearl, my little lamb, to my chickadee. All the illustrations are simple, bright and charming and I loved all the endearment choices except one: "Good night, my shrimp..." My Shrimp? Really? Sure enough, there's our smiling little baby face peeking out as a pink crustacean. That one just didn't seem to fit with the others.Good Night! is still an awesome choice if you are looking for a bedtime book for your baby to go along with Goodnight Moon, or Goodnight Gorilla. The only problem is, your little one might say the same thing that the baby in this book says at the end: "Again!"
