I had never tried the type of banana plug that accepts regular speaker wire until now. I was not aware this option was available with my other banana plug cables being premade with a thick tube like plastic covering. I was hoping there was some sort of setup like this and with these nice plug ends from the Goaycer brand i now have my answer. I did not need directions on how to install the wire into the plug ends due to the design being so simple there is really only one way to go about it. When you unscrew the plug it opens into two pieces with a cylindrical metal piece that sticks out on the inside area. This piece that juts out has small fine teethe that attach to the wire when it is fed through. You simply run the wire through and into the receiving end then screw it back together. This should fasten it but it may take a try or two before you get it. I had to redo one of the ends but then had it down with no problem. You can tell the metal is high quality just by looking at it but it is still reassuring to know they are 24 karat gold plated which says it all in relation to conductivity.I am totally convinced banana plugs are the way to go to assure you do not receive any static or audio flow problems. I have had many scenarios where my cat walks across the cable and half pulls it out so there is portions of the audio track mussing due to a few strands of the speaker wire being either pulled out or jumbled.With these plugs you are guaranteed to be able to gather all of the speaker wire strands together and in turn placed appropriately so it can transmit the audio without obstructions of the wire itself or the ends not being secured into the receiving ports on the receiver.In the picture I have included I chose to show two of the plugs already put together and then plugged into a banana cable friendly receiver port. The speaker wire I chose is of a commercial grade and is thick so you know if that wire works then the thinner home style wire will be a piece of cake setting up.The audio end result is amazing with my records sounding super nice.In conclusion these plugs are essential for audiophiles like myself and i highly recommend them.

I received this product in exchange for my honest review as part of the Amazon Vine Program. Seller Gaoycer lists these as "Goaycer Banana Plugs for Speaker Wire - 24K Gold Plated Speaker Connector fit for 8/10/12/14/16/18 AWG (6 Pairs)". I wanted a set of banana plugs to hardwire some speakers. A nice set like this gives a quality connection. The set is in Picture 1. These are very capable, 6 pair is enough to do a 5.1 stereo speaker setup - Subwoofer, Front and Rear speakers (Left and Right) and Center. I do wish they would package these as a set of 8 pair to enable full surround sound speaker wiring (7.1) which is why I gave this 4 stars on value. The plugs are Red and Black for easy polarity identification. I just had to unscrew the plug to let me pass my speaker wire through the bottom, strip about 1/2 inch speaker wire insulation, fan out the copper stranded conductor and screw on the banana plug end. (Pictures 2 & 3) Works just fine, well made. Recommended.

These banana plugs are very good quality and extremely easy to use. They give you a secure connection. After some experimentation with different speaker cables and connectors I have developed a preference for Sewell Deadbolt connectors which these are pretty much identical too. Same weight, same size, same style but for a few bucks less. I know some people prefer the screw type banana plugs because they say they are supposed to secure the wire better but in my experience that is mostly hogwash, these are more secure and they are way easier to use. These have better contact with the wire in my experience too.The one minor downside with these banana plugs, if there is one, is that these aren’t ideal for thin speaker wires. I wouldn’t use these with anything thinner than a 14 awg wire. I’m using 12 awg with these and it fits beautifully.

Seems identical to the other brand (Sewell) I have bought with similar design, other than the brand label. These work great! Very high quality feel. Love the design over the screw terminal type. Highly recommended for anyone looking for banana plugs!

The material quality used for these plugs is spot on and works just as well as the ones we normally use for setups, benchmarks, and other uses. In fact, they look 100% the same as what we always get (Sewell), only these are more expensive technically since you only get 6-pairs instead of 12.When it comes to serving their function, they do exactly that and they do it well. We typically use these kinds of plugs on most of the nicer speaker brands that cross our path. There is nothing like having an easy way to patch/unpatch them into setups as we test them about. Overall these are a nice looking gold plated set of plugs. However, I'm not totally confident in their capture mechanism, so while I don't particularly plan you be yanking on the cables, the way they engage is considerably different than I'm used to. The advantage of the design is that the body is shorter, so if you have a tight access issue, that should help. The black part is rubber but it's not clear if it's molded on or a boot that could pull off.The packaging is just a thin vacuum molded clear plastic that didn't handle shipping very well. The parts were able to come out of their slots and move around bulging the package. Not likely to have major damage, but not great.

Super Bananenstecker. Top Qualität und auch sehr gute Befestigung des Kables. Die Stecker sitzen auch sehr gut in den Buchsen. Da wackelt nix. Für meine 6 mm² Kabel optimal. Klare Empfehlung.

und klingen ganz hervorragend - so viel besser anzubringen als die Kupferkabel selbst, und klemmen ganz natürlich die Drähte fest

Die Stecker sind sehr empfehlenswert. Sie haben in der Steckbuchse des Verstärker, bzw. Lautsprecher einen festen Kontakt.
