A magnetic white board eraser that sticks to a magnetic glass whiteboard.

This is quite an expensive little item - but it certainly does a great job cleaning those dratted glass boards. We have them at university and we students have to work on them regularly - and they are a total nightmare to clean. We always have to use harsh chemicals and never really get the things clean. Now I have my little Nobo Eraser, it is an absolute breeze! It works like a charm. It feels very comfy to use - so the ergonomics are ace - and it's lovely and light as well. And it definitely is magnetic as it keeps sticking to my glasses case, as well as the board! It is easy to keep clean, too - and it's double sided, so you can just turn the pad over and use the other side before you do have to wash it. All in all it is a brilliant little piece of kit and it finally frees you from horrible chemicals while actually working to get your board properly clean.

I'm reviewing this from a teacher's point of view on a normal bog-standard whiteboard (oh how I'd love one of the diamond glass boards talked about by Nobo). I knew it wasn't really aimed at me but it did mention that it was suitable for whiteboards as well. Blimey, it was fab! My board needs graffiti remover every night to keep it clean, I don't know why but it does. So it had the obligatory chemicals on it and the next day I worked as normal then used this that night. Everything rubbed away. There was a patch that wouldn't come off but I turned the pad around and it all came clean. My board looked good! I can only imagine how good it is on glass boards. It felt comfortable in my hand and I needed little effort to remove even the residual traces of my day's lessons. It is magnetic and hung neatly at the bottom corner where there was a nail. Now, I can't leave it out all the time as eager hands often take my belongings and I do want to hang on to this so once the magnetic ability was tested it was locked away for use the next lesson. Could I justify the price? Actually I could if I knew it wouldn't be pinched by a child or well-meaning colleague. It worked and it worked well.

It's sturdily-made, double-sided and can be washed by hand to clean it, and is also magnetic so will attach strongly to metal surfaces. The eraser case is made of sturdy but lightweight silvery plastic with a light sheen. The eraser itself consists of a rubbery core containing magnets with the eraser fabric stuck on either side. Price is comparable to similar products (though of course you could just use a cloth or a tissue!). === THINGS I LIKED ABOUT THIS PRODUCT === * Sturdy plastic case for the eraser in an attractive silvery plastic with a slight sheen * Strongly magnetic, so attaches firmly to a metal surface * If you have a Nobo glass board, it matches the branding * Works just as well to remove dirt and ink from any other glass board or drywipe board * Double-sided with the same fabric so, once one side gets dirty, you can pull out the eraser, flip it over then use the other side * Washable by hand === NIGGLES === * I wonder how long it will last since the design relies on the eraser being held firmly within the plastic case - how will the eraser stand up to being washed? I don't know (yet) === PRICE & PACKAGING === The product comes in a sturdy cardboard box that's exactly the right size. Product information is printed on the outside. There's a safety information leaflet inside (warning the product contains small magnets). At the time of writing this review, the product was for sale at £13.12 (RRP £23.99), which is comparable to the price of similar products.

I am reviewing the Nobo Diamond Glass Board Eraser - Silver Designed by Nobo experts. Here are my thoughts: ^^ Compared to what I was using (a bit of tissue and spit) I'm actually very pleased with this product. ^^ The eraser is a good shape for getting into the corners, of my whiteboard and the shape and length makes it really easy to hold and use. ^^ This eraser contains small magnets, so it attaches onto the board's surface. ^^ The bottom or the eraser that rubs out the pen, can taken out and turned around to help keep it clean. ^^ Despite being much better than a tissue, I wracked my brains trying to think why something doesn't quite sit right with me, (apart from the high price) and I think it's the "diamond glass" product description that makes it sound sounds like it is going to be something more than it actually is... when in reality it is just a white board eraser, with a plastic handle. However, I like it. It works well and fits nicely on my whiteboard's shelf. It should just be a lot cheaper, for what it is. But it is still good! Overall: I'm no stranger to Nobo products and I actually love them! I've never owned a glass board, but I do use this eraser on my whiteboards. I wouldn't pay full price, but I do like this as it works as expected, and is much nicer (and more effective) than tissue.

This eraser is well made, but far too expensive especially as it does not do its job very well. My glass whiteboard came with a pen which has an eraser at the end, and that eraser does a better job than this one. It takes some 'scrubbing' with the Nobo to remove any whiteboard pen I use and even then it leaves little ink specks all over the whiteboard. I still have to use a microfibre cloth to get the glass clean so I just use that now and the eraser is redundant.
