Fantastic Filter Set for Photographers!
This Zeikos 72mm multi-coated filter set is a great addition to my photography gear! The UV filter provides excellent protection for my lens, the CPL filter enhances colors and reduces reflections, and the FLD filter improves indoor lighting balance. The build quality is solid, and they fit perfectly on my lens. Plus, the included pouch and cleaning cloth are a nice bonus. Highly recommended for both beginners and professionals!

It's a deal
I always buy a UV filter for my glass to protect it, and saw this little three-pack and snagged it. So far I've had great success with it.The UV filter does what it's supposed to -- pictures are clear as ever, no haze from UV light, no complaints. The polarizer is the best thing about this. It's a great filter and would alone probably cost four times as much as this whole kit. You don't get the real dark blue skies that a higher quality one would give, but it does darken them slightly. Getting rid of reflections and and glare has been superb. It has performed as well as higher grade polarizers. If you've never used a polarizer, it's a must have for some awesome quality and neat looking pictures.I haven't found much use for the FLD. It does normalize the color tones of your pictures (makes them slightly rosy colored), but all in all I think it's a matter preference on that one. I managed to get it stuck on my UVF, and could not unscrew it for the life of me. I had to resort to breaking it off with pliers. Turns out the threads started separating from the ring, however I'm not sure if it's from the build quality or from putting it on a little too tight, but most likely the latter. It's a great buy for $6 (at least, that's how much it was when I bought it) and works great, despite negative reviews I've read on other Zeikos products.

CPL's glass rattles
I purchased this set of filters because I was happy with the same brand of filters for my 62mm-diameter lenses. I expected the 72mm filters to work equally well. While the CPL does work as advertised it's glass is very loose within the frame so it rattles around a lot when adjusting the CPL. A couple of times I was convinced that the glass was just going to fall out. I don't plan to return it because the filters do get the job done and they help to protect the lens itself. If the glass does fall out, at least I will not have spent a lot of money. I am going to save my pennies in the meantime so that I can buy a better quality CPL.(Update)The glass popped out which had me very upset until an extremely smart friend told me to screw in the ring around the glass tighter. I didn't even notice I could do that. The filter has been working well ever since. Based on this I am upping my rating to four stars. For those of you who might not know, the CPL will not darken the entire sky for some wide angle shots. It has nothing to do with the CPL but rather the amount of space covered in the shot. Some other technical person can do a better job of explaining in more detail. Here is an explanation I found on [...]"With an ultra-wide angle lens, one edge of your image frame might be nearly facing the sun, whereas the opposing edge might be facing 90° away from the sun. This means that you will be able to see the changing influence of your polarizer across a single photo, which is usually undesirable."

Terrific Filter Set for HDC-TM700
I purchased this filter set for my Panasonic HDC-TM700 camcorder. They fit snugly and do what they are supposed to do. Admittedly, I bought this set just for the UV filter to protect my lens. The polarizing filter and fluorescent filter work fine and the set comes in a velvet lined hard case with partitions for each filter. What makes me really happy is the low price. There seems to be much discussion about the polarizing filter. The picture is correct. It is a linear polarizing filter (PL), and not a circular polarizing filter (CPL) as stated in the product title. Now that you know that, don't sweat it - because it won't matter anyway. Here's the skinny. If you will not be using the polarizing filter on an auto-focusing SLR (or DSLR), then you don't need a CPL - it won't make a difference. You see, linear PL filters will mess up your metering/auto-focus if you are using the filter on a camera that has a partially reflective mirror. Point and shoot cameras and camcorders don't have such mirrors. I can't name any SLRs/DSLRs that take a 46mm filter, so I suspect that most if not all of the potential buyers of this filter set will have NO problem with the PL filter.

They Are Simply O.K. Filters
I have purchased these brand of Filters in different types and sizes for a variety of DSLR Lenses. I give the build quality a (3.5) rating because some do not fit all that well onto my various "top brand name" Lenses, and the Black Oxide coating of the outside metal ring has a tendency to come off quickly, just from normal (careful) handling. On the other hand, they do an O.K. job of Filtering (per Filter type), but not a great job! Specifically, I have always had this stubborn belief that "hey its a piece of specially designed glass" - what could be so different between one brand and another - and the cost of such pieces of glass comparing one brand to another. However, when you actually shoot and compare say the U.V. Filter of this brand, vs. a more expensive brand on the same camera, settings, time frame, etc., and immediately compare the color rendering - there is a difference with the more expensive filters out there. Bottom line, these Filters are O.K. for the money, and they are not bad, but better can certainly be had at more expense.
