Great dog food. It's one of the top brand choices on dogfoodadvisor.Com. My dogs both love it. It keeps them at a healthy weight and I've seen a marked improvement in their skin and hair health. It is also approved for all life stages so it makes it easier to feed both my puppy and my adult dog out of one bag, and no switching over to an adult formula when my pup turns a year old. The company has never had a recall, most of the food is human grade, purchased locally and the kibble is made in a human grade factory. All this and an extremely reasonable price to boot. This food is also one of a few dog foods out there that suits both of my dogs' dietary needs. My adult dog can't have grains and my puppy didn't do well with a chicken based diet and has a genetic condition making it unsafe for him to be on a high protein diet. The fish based recipe adds lots of health benefits for them, the use of pulses keeps grains out of the equation and the recipe has a good amount of protein, with out making it too much protein for my puppy. All in all, I love this food and will continue to buy it for a while (I don't say forever because we do a one to two year rotation diet, replacing the kibble brand to mix it up for our dogs. It is a feeding strategy for the health of our dogs and has nothing to with brand dissatisfaction.)

In opening the bag, I spilled some while putting it into the container. The girls went wild. I put it into their bowls, and they ate it voraciously. Good at first attempt at feeding.

The price food quality flavor to my dog's liking

I have a Boston Terrier that has bad stomach issues with vomiting constantly. He was on a prescription food for years. I actually bought this food on sale for my big lab mix. I noticed my Boston was always trying to get a bite of the lab’s food ( this was UNUSUAL). I started feeding him this pork blend kibble with much better results than the prescription food. I am wondering if he has allergies to chicken maybe.

Excellent grai- free food. My dog loves it and the price is good. My dog had terrible itching and a rash and after some research, I discovered this was probably due to a wheat allergy. I switched over to Horizon Pulsar and the rash cleared up in a few weeks. The fish flavor does have a strong smell, but hey, it's fish. Highly recommend.

I have one of my rescue dogs on this food - a Tibetan Terrier. She is doing very well on it. She has a little bit of a sensitive stomach so it took me a while to find the right food and this is a winner. It also has quite a bit of fiber so it helps with her intermittent constipation she had (it is not gone) I recommend trying it.

You can see the high rating of this on dogfoodadvisor which is why I tried it. My dog enjoys the food (he does not like TOTW fish flavor, which is supposedly similar). My dog is his perfect weight and his coat is silky and doesn't shed. The only bad thing about this food is my cat loves it, and will gladly steal it from the dog's dish. I noticed another reviewer said it attracted bears. I don't smell anything strong about this food, but the way my cat acts, it must smell amazing to animals

We have a very "Gassy" Boston Terrier...it has been a problem since she was a puppy. After some research I found that this product was recommended by a local Boston Terrier breeder, so we thought we would give it a try. Not for the gas, but because she has some skin allergies and thought this would help (which it did). But an unexpected result was that all her gas disappeared within a few days. She loves this product and so do we. Things are much more pleasant around our home!!
