Works very good

The original capacitor that came with my secondhand Goodman condenser was a JARD unit. It was so old that the entire top cap was rusty and I could not read the terminal designations any more. I decided to replace it with another JARD capacitor as the old one had lasted for many, many years. The physical action of replacing it was super easy. I just analyzed the color coding of the wiring to understand which ones were for the compressor and the one for the fan. After I understood which terminal was what for what on the old, rusty capacitor I held the new capacitor up to the old one and swapped the wires one-by-one. It took me about 15 minutes to do and saved me about $300 for a commercial AC company to come out and replace it. Time and money well spent and saved.

This did the job for my outside unit. The symptoms were the fan runs but the compressor would kick on so the air wasn't cold nor did it have a strong flow. 15 minutes later, boom, I was chillaxin. I recommend taking a before picture of the existing wire connections to the capacitor. It makes the reinstall much easier.

My AC blower went out and warm air was coming into the home. After troubleshooting it showed that the fan in the unit outside was not working and we discovered that the capacitor was burnt. AC companies charge around close to $400 or more, so luckily Amazon has these for purchasing. After replacing with thus capacitor the house is cool again.
