The Deborah Anointing: Embracing the Call to be a Woman of Wisdom and Discernment

I enjoyed this book greatly. I learned a lot and will be re-reading again in the near future. It was a joy to read about a woman’s power and authority, yet at the same time being able to balance supporting and taking care of her family without the need to pull down a man.

This Book is so good. I bought the physical copy and purchased it on Audible. I listen to it and take notes. Everything the author says is Gold.

This whole series is awesome! I did these with a small group of women and there was so much to glean from every book.

This is an important book for women, and professional Christian women in particular. She expands "women's place" and challenges longstanding preferences of the "church" for how women should participate in church, in government and in the larger society. The author provides a balanced, Biblical representation of how women were viewed and engaged in the work of God in the Old Testament and in contemporary times. She reframes the role of women in the larger society without undermining the authority of men in selected settings. She celebrates "femininity" without stereotyping or limiting women's expressions of their feminine self. The Deborah Anointing provides a good foundation for additional study that will empower women to be all they can be in Jesus Christ and in the Kingdom of God! Kudos and many thanks!
