I stopped using the canned Manwich many years ago due to added sugar. Then, for the longest time I was using the McCormick sloppy joe packet mixes. But, at some point since the pandemic started, my local grocery store stopped stocking those McCormick packets.Just by chance, I happened to notice this brand in the organic food section. I bought one to try it out, and we loved it. After that, though, I was having a hard time finding these at the grocery store. In desperation I searched the internet and found these.I like them because they are low sugar, and not extremely spicy, as so many foods seem to be today. They do require the use of a small can of tomato paste, but that is fine - I only get annoyed when a recipe calls for part of a can - what am I supposed to do with the rest?

This seasoning does not have the rich, spicy, flavor I usually expect in a barbecue mix. It is more bland and if you like a more bland product, this is for you. Those who expect a rich and spicy flavor may be disappointed. That said, I have only used it one packet and perhaps I will get used to the mix or add red pepper to this mix. I love that this organic mix exists. I also use this brand taco mix (excellent!) and mild chili mix (also excellent!).

I love this Organic enchilada sauce! Also love that it comes in a 6 pack so I can use only what I need. The product arrived fast with no issues. I will definitely order again!
