Facsmile Lighted Travel Mirror 5X Magnifying with Folding Stand - Hot Pink

This mirror is actually larger than I expected it to be. It's big, but not too big. It can still fit into my purse or even a couple of my makeup bags. It looks like a compact and has two mirrors that can be used. I love the rose pink color and the fact that the outside shouldn't fade and is scratch proof.It runs on 4 AAA batteries, which is nicer than it having to be constantly plugged in to the wall. I like that it can stand, but I do wish that it could stand a bit taller. The light that is on the bottom mirror is surprisingly very bright. I love the lighting for when I'm doing my makeup. The top mirror can magnify up to 5 times which is pretty great, especially when I'm trying to pluck my eyebrows or apply my eye shadow and mascara.Then, I love how it collapses back down into a regular compact again.This mirror is very nice, even though, I mentioned wanting it to be taller.Nice product to keep in your bag or to travel with.I received this product in exchange for an honest review. *****Originally I gave this mirror 2 stars but have returned after using it to adjust my review.This mirror was a HUGE WASTE of money and I would not recommend it to anyone. The light in the regular mirror and does not shine into the magnified section of the mirror. Just don't waste your money. It's going into the trash! Junk!I was hopeful this would be what I was searching for but sadly it is just not what I expected. The first thing that I noticed is that it is heavy which for me would eliminate it as something you would use as portable. The next thing that I find to be of issue is the light that it projects. It's pretty bright but the lights are like beams that blind you while you are trying to apply your makeup. Lastly, the design is awkward to use. The light is located in the regular mirror and it does not project well into the magnified portion. Overall, I feel this is something that would not be convenient to use either at home or while traveling.

My daughter uses this to apply her make for cheerleading. It is a perfect size and weight to fit in her backpack to take to competitions.

Uggggh I don't want to admit I need this. I've always had better than 20/20 vision!!! But sadly, starting this year, suddenly I am starting to need a little magnification to things. I was even in denial about installing a big round extension mirror in our bathroom... for the husband, I told myself, for him to shave with. Only. He's never used it once. I use it all the time because I can get my eye makeup really right and there's the matter of my hirsute eyebrows that I must constantly watch and prune and maintain lest they sneak off to fulfill their dream of being on Frida Kahlo's face instead of mine. So! When I was offered the opportunity to try this at a discount in exchange for my unbiased review, I knew what I had to do. When this arrived in the mail, I was first off, quite surprised at the heft of the thing. I was picturing something about the size of a powder compact and about as heavy; this is much larger, maybe large coaster sized, and with the batteries installed, it is a heavy little number! I do appreciate that this takes AAA batteries, and not the little hearing-aid sized ones; AAA at least are cheap to replace (stock up at IKEA) and I think they do a nice job. That said, there are a couple issues with this little mirror. For one thing, the extra magnifying part (which I hate to admit is only 5X) is the top mirror-- in other words, the non-lit side. As I've said, the size and heft of this little mirror might not work if you're taking it in a cute little clutch purse. I do really like the fact that you can adjust the mirror to exactly the angle you need, and the heft factor is nice in terms of keeping the thing firmly on the table, even when the mirror is at a really wacky far-extended angle. The LED lights are nice; I can't say that they really blast a huge lighting effect on my face but they're certainly adequate for my needs (applying makeup in the daylight or hotel room light) as I almost never feel the need to touch up my makeup in the pitch blackness. But you might want a little more light than this little travel mirror provides, if you are under different circumstances/mindset than I am. I also need to say that the color of the LED's is on the 'cool' side, which is not my favorite as I am quite warm-colored and the effect of cool lighting on my face is generally sort of depressing. Like I have an undiagnosed liver condition, or something. But I am an adult, I know the effect is an illusion and FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE I need to resist the desire to commit too much of my life to first-world-vanity-issues. Overall, I think this is a fine travel-equivalent version of my over-the-sink round mirror, even if it doesn't magnify quite as well. The little on/off switch is (well, obviously) quite intuitive but also marked clearly and feels solid being switched on and off. I think for the price, this is a great little item for my own travel repertoire. Thank you very much!!

When I received this mirror, I was very pleased with it for several reasons:1 Excellent travel mirror...this fits wonderfully inside my large cosmetic bag. And there is plenty of room left for my makeup, shampoo, etc2 Large enough for a regular makeup mirror.3) The lights on this mirror are very bright. In fact, it reminds me of a larger lighted makeup mirror that I use to use. However, I like this one much better.3 Angles-I like the angles and adjustments (as shown in the description page). I found this mirror so easy to adjust.4 Love the color...PINK!I really like this mirror. It would be great if it was a lighted mirror, however, this mirror is just as advertised.Mirror provided for testing and reviewing purposes.
