Family Fun
Fun game for the family. Easy to learn. Answers can be funny. First person to reach 500 wins. At first we thought it would be a long game because the point value on a majority of cards is 5 - 25 points. Wrong - You can easily rack up 100+ a hand so the game goes quickly. The deck is hard to shuffle since there are over 100 cards. But hey, who doesn't love a 340 lb iPod. Play the game.

Fun for all ages!
I was introduced to this game by some friends and had to get it for myself because it was so much fun. The deck of cards contains a variety of words or short phrases, such as "President," "Woman," "Shoots," "Turns In" or "Dog." Each card also has a point value associated with it. Each player is dealt five cards, which they must try to arrange to make a clever sentence in the style of a newspaper headline ("Woman Shoots President, Turns In Dog"). You can discard and draw up to three new cards. Each player makes their headline, and the best one wins the indicated number of points.I don't know how educational this game is, but it certainly does focus on reading and making sentences, and the words are all clean (though some combinations can definitely have a double entendre effect) so it's safe for even young kids while still fun for adults-only use too. The only real drawback is the lack of any way to incorporate punctuation, especially commas, but you make up for it in the way you read your headline, providing the right emphasis to make it funny and make it make sense.

Super fun, fast & easy but doesn't get boring
Nobody in my family can remember the name, bless their hearts, but it's telling that it's the "hilarious headline game".Players age 9-65 all had a wild, fun time.Scoring is easy to track and play goes quickly. Unlike some games, it's both fast to pick up and yet never loses the "new" and interesting aspect. Really nice for a quickie game and it has a TON of application for reading skills despite the hilarity it offers.

Disappointing
I do speech therapy with middle schoolers and thought this looked like a great game for them. I played it with several groups today and a couple of kids got a kick out of the funny headlines they were able to make, but most just found it a chore. Many times they ended up with no nouns at all in their hand, making a headline impossible. Also, I wouldn't classify a game as ages 8 and up when it has words like "indicted". We had to remove several words like this because none of the kids knew what they meant (and they were too complicated for me to quickly explain to them). I will probably get some use out of it by sorting through and making piles for "nouns" and "verbs" and removing cards that don't work for the age group I want to play with. But overall I was disappointed by this game in practice since I thought it was a great idea in theory.

and my husband and I still enjoy. It is quick and fun as you assemble ...
Our family really enjoys this game. It is one of the first games we have found that my seven year old can play, and my husband and I still enjoy. It is quick and fun as you assemble words and phrases to make newspaper headlines. Harder to use words are worth more points. Headlines area often silly, and we sound a lot of time laughing. This game also gives us a fun way to help our daughter learn about nouns, verbs, etc. as well as mental arithmetic.

Lots of fun!
I bought this game for my 14 yr. old son for Christmas. He absolutely loves it! The first game we played was an instant hit. Next day, my 11 yr. old joined us for a game and he loved it as well. After playing, they got out cardstock, pens, and crayons and made some of their own cards (most were crude and/or politically incorrect, but hey, they're boys) and then got right back to playing. A very good game to foster creativity, discussions about language and punctuation, and family time.

This Game is Hilarious!
I bought this as a gift and it was so thoroughly enjoyed that we also bought the adult version, Yeti Eats Alien. There is an array of funny cards, and the gameplay was great. This made a great gift, and I definitely recommend it to families with kids. However, I have to give four stars. There wasn't a ton of variety in the cards, and there were lots of repeats. This meant that after playing a few times it did get a little boring, but was still enjoyable nonetheless.Overall, this is a great purchase. My only hope is that they add expansion packs other than Yeti Eats Alien.

Don't waste your Money
Boring game. Suggested for 2 people, but it doesn't really work for 2. Cards are repetitious without enough variation. Hard to shuffle because there are a lot of them and they are not plastic coated. If you want to buy this game, come to our garage sale.

Light-hearted fun.
An easy after supper game. Doesn't require too much skill or attention and definitely good for a laugh. Better with 6 people plus rather than 2.

Reasonably clean fun.
I played this over the Christmas period and have to be honest in saying I was hoping for a few more laughs. Man Bites Dog is a bit of a sanitised version of Cards Against Humanity, but one you're more likely to play with elderly relatives. It's good, quick fun, but if you're looking for something a little risque, you're better off going with something else.
