Fit is as expected but I would suggest that if you are at the limit the go for the next size up.Purchased these for a recent 3 Peak Challenge and so glad I did. Took 3 pairs, one for each mountain and none let me down.Very cosy on the feet and a pleasure to wear.On the second mountain in the early hours of the morning and in heavy rain the inside of my boots hot very wet due to rain running down my shorts and legs. The socks did not scrunch up and still kept my feet warm. After making attempts to dry my boots whilst on route to Ben Nevis I changed into a dry pair of these sock and completed the challenge without a single problem. I could not even tell that my boots were still very damp inside.Wash ok with no shrinking and will probably last me a lifetime especially as they have a lifetime no quibble warranty.I would buy these again despite the somewhat steep price tag as I think they are worth it!!

Ok, so they are expensive for socks, however they are very well made, very comfortable and have been used repeatedly for trekking long distances (without any rubbing etc). They were promptly delivered, not excessively packaged and are comfortable. What more do you need to know?

Awesome socks, warm, comfortable they don’t slip and help prevent blisters even on some of the epic hikes I’ve been on
