If you're hungry and don't know what go have for lunch... instant tuna sandwich!It's just enough for a substantial, single tuna sandwich. Smash it with some mayo and some spices then spread it on bread. Easy peasy!While it's not cheap, it's shelf stable and there when you need it.

Note: My original review was 3 stars but I just changed it to 5....I got my tuna in March 2021 andopened one package....wasn't happy because that tuna tasted dry and grainy...so below is what I wrote"I would have given this product many more stars for flavor and I love that it's tested for safety but the texture of this fish isn't good. It's super dry and grainy and when mixed with mayo, it's just not what tuna fish should be..."I will use this up but will not purchase it again. I like tuna with more moisture...Updating: 11/21I should have realized that every package would be different....Although my first package of tunawas a grainy texture, I had kept the other 7 in my pantry unopened, thinking I might give them away...but never got around to it....However today I opened two packages and made a tuna salad....They were both perfectly moist and tasted absolutely delicious....I want to change my review to 5 stars....because like pieces of fruit that come from the same tree, each piece might have different textures or flavors.

A friend of mine recommended this brand to me, so I bought a few packages and it has been an excellent, healthy alternative to canned tuna. I love the flavor, great for sandwiches, salads, or any other culinary dish you can put tuna into, and the texture was good for me too.I love the mercury testing, and all the health benefits this tuna specifically offers, it helps to offset the ost, which was already reasonable anyway. The tuna keeps well in the packaging so you're not ina rush to consume all at once, and this product comes in different flavors to help keep mixing it up!

Good quality, tastes great. The packages are smaller than a typical can. I find each one package makes a medium-sized amount for a single person. If you're really hungry or want to try to make tuna salad for two, you'll have to use two packages. With a pregnant wife and young child, regular canned tuna is not a good option. This is a bit pricey but tastes good and I feel it's worth it.

I like this company's product a lot - my choice if I need vacuum packed tuna or salmon. It's expensive, but it is all fish, no fillers like water/oil. This is ideal if you are hiking/camping & don't want any unfortunate fish water/oil spills on clothes. Those things will be smellable until you can use a real washing machine!

I loved the taste, quality and the care. The pouches make it surprisingly easy to empty into a small bowl and mix it with a nice mayonnaise. I really love this option. It makes it easy to eat a healthy meal. I am sensitive to chemical and metal exposure so this is my ideal choice for fish at any time with out mess or bother.

This tuna is incredibly good, so much better than the big box brands. Tuna tastes fresh, not at all strong or 'fishy, it doesn't flake as well as the tin can varieties (more like a minced texture) but for me, flavor beats texture.

I eat tuna a couple times a week, so happy to find mercury tested tuna. I like the taste and texture of this tuna. It is chunky, I break it up with a fork before putting it on crackers.
