Total rubbish. Tried several CD's and it wouldn't play any of them. Or maybe it was playing them and I just didn't know it because no sound was coming out of the headphones (neither the ones that came with it or my own pair.)

My darling husband is a dinosaur,bless his little heart , no phone or tablet. He likes to listen to his CD's and this perfect for him. It sounds clear and he loves it. It plays well and doesn't jump. Also comes with earphones . Perfect for your dinosaurs.

A little blast from the past! I still have my old, deceased walkman somewhere, so this was great to try out and have for random use. It is totally based on the original tech, so it takes a couple of AA batteries, no option for USB charging, sadly. No bluetooth either but I wasn't looking for that. I just wanted something to use to listen to some old CDs in the car or out in the garden and, for that, it is perfectly fine. I was not expecting stereophonic perfection, just enjoyment. But you do need to supply your own headphones because theirs are terrible.

This portable CD player gave me flashbacks to my teens! This is a fun retro-style gadget that is easy to use. The sound quality is actually pretty decent although I recommend using your own headphones as the ones supplied are very basic. I love the fact that this has the anti-shock protection so you aren't having to deal with skipped tracks every time you move. Obviously this machine is not perfect. I am sure there are portable CD players with superb sound and it would obviously be lovely to have Bluetooth so that this could be used with wireless headphones. However, this is an inexpensive CD player and I think you do get a decent gadget for your money.

My husband loved this retro product. It kept him quiet for hours!The build is very good quality and has a good quality sound range with decent bass.It has an anti shock feature which is very good.His only gripe is that the random feature doesn’t have its own button.There is a separate programmable button. But he prefers random play.Otherwise excellent product. Good value and recommended.

This is a very cheap looking product, which is very plastic and doesn't feel or look high quality at all. It works reasonably well and sound quality is fair for the price. It takes 2 AA batteries, which isn't great, as it gets through them quite quickly. There is a slot for an adapter, but it doesn't come supplied with one, which makes it very dated. It is okay if you want to listen to your CDs, but when you can get most music through your phone, it seems a bit defunct these days and really is just for the retro feel of it.
