I was recently hunting in Maine and I had this for lunch as I was sitting against a log and it was very easy and tasty. It’s simple to prepare with just a little water which I already have on hand so all I need is a spoon. The pouch makes no noise while eating which is good for hunting deer. I had a big bunch come up on me within minutes of eating. Great that I can get a meal in the woods so easily.

Being able to bring your own food that's lightweight and tasty is a plus. The 2 servings is just enough to get you thru the morning on a loaded touring bike. Big plus is you hydrate and eat from the same bag. No dishes to clean! These meals are lightweight enough to bring extras. The food is good and the size is just right.

The flavor was better than I had expected but quantity was less than thought it would be for the price. When I use it again, I might consider repackaging them as the package is quiet large and bulky even when flattening them out. Also, I needed to supplement it with additional granola as this alone was not enough to get me through the morning. The reason for 4 stars is simply the price for what I received. But then again, there is a cost for the easy to use packaging (meal in a bag).

Love mountain house freeze dried food. Always top quality and great for camping or prepping! Highly recommend this product. We have all of their different choices of meals.

Love these for camping. Also I buy a couple on a regular basis to give out to the homeless. High calorie, lightweight, and keeps forever!!!

We bought these for our kids who were backpacking for four days. When we counted up what we had, we were short and filled in the spaces on Amazon. The products arrived quickly and they went into their backpacks easily. They both enjoyed the meal this one provided and raved about how good their food was in general.
