I couple years ago I bought my first "discgear" disc retrieval system. I was accumulating way too many DVD's to keep a record of what I had, and thought there MUST be something out there that would solve this problem. When I saw my first Discgear, I was hesitant at first as these sounded too good to be true for what they were designed to do. Well, this one is now my FOURTH one and I am absolutely delighted with them! They keep all my discs in order, they keep them CLEAN and perfectly protected, i.e. none of the discs ever touch each other or anything else in the case! They're retrieved perfectly every time by only the very edge of the disc and without the unit ever touching the play surface and, they take up a fraction of the space a hundred DVD's would normally do. There are other brands on the market and I've seen reviews where this type of storage system isn't working well for some reviewers. I can't speak for those other brands, but from EXPERIENCE, I'll give Discgear FIVE STARS and then some for their product that solves an annoying problem of disc storage and works like a charm! (and this product arrived lightning FAST from the seller!)

So far so good! We consolidated our collection and will most likely be buying another one. The only bummer is the fact that it is a pop up. We have a small apartment and every inch of space needs to be used smartly. Nothing can be sat on top of this unit and it has to be in a space where it can pop up. Still...better than all the space those DVDs were taking up!!

This product is great. Mind you 5 stars is for product not the now 99.00 price if you can find one. It was half that and I wanted to get more but I will wait for something else since someone lost their mind and decided to raise the price to Richie rich and the lifestyles of the rich and famous. Does it come with a gold bar or proof that aliens do, in fact, exist?

Bought as a gift. Receiver loved it and filled it almost immediately. Have a n7mber of them myself. Absolutely great except $20 more expensive than a few years ago.

Before I didn't know where each DVD was and I had to spend lots of time trying to find the exact movie I wanted to watch. I bought several of these and now it's a cinch to find any DVD and just a click and there it is.

I own the carousals of cd's and of all the storage devices that I have this Disc Gear is by far the easiest and secure. After you get them loaded and logged. It is a dream. Portable and safe. It even looks good on the shelf.

I have several of these. I love the light on the newer models. I do however miss the box that held the DVD jacket book upright, that came with the older models, Overall it is a product that i am completely sold on. Organization is important to me and this is superior organization. I use this product for all of my CD's and DVD's, I love the Disc Gear 120 selector.
