I purchased these pencils and a coloring book for adults for my Mother who is in a nursing home. I thought it would be something nice for her to do to pass the time. She does seem to be enjoying it. I liked the fact that they came in a nice tin that would protect them from damage and would be easy for her to open. I also liked the fact that the color is on the bottom of the pencil so it's very easy for her to see even if her room isn't brightly lit. I tried the pencils myself so I would be able to write this review. The color goes on nicely. They are soft enough to go on smoothly but not so soft that you have to sharpen them constantly. They arrived on time and in perfect condition. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I was pleasantly surprised by these pencils. Recently I have begun to experiment with a large selection of colored pencils. These are relatively inexpensive for a set of 24 pencils. The Colorolio Colored Pencils for Artists include all the basic colors you will need because you are able to lay the color down from translucent to a deep rich color by layering and blending your colors. I hope they do come out with a larger set in the future. I would recommend these and I would purchase them again.

The tin is so pretty it is a shame it did not travel well. That said, the pencils are fun to use... Kids and volunteer artists made cards with them for the holidays and everyone was impressed. Smooth leads, good for crafty coloring.

These are quality pencils that work much better than I expected. There are many pencils currently being soldthat claim to be artist quality, but do not work as claimed. These pencils color smoothly, with vibrant color.I hope there will be a set with more colors in the future.

These color pencils are wonderful to color with - the color goes on smooth and easily can be made darker/lighter. They come in a nice thin tin perfect for travel as well. Nice selection of colors. I have the Marco Raffine 72 set but keep coming back to my smaller Colorolio set because they are easier to color with and the color is better! Please make a larger color set!

I have used these pencils one time. I liked how they colored. The colors are brilliant. You can shade with them easily.I did have a issue with the pencils sharpening and originally was not happy. This company Is addressing my issues and replacing my pencil set. I absolutely love companies that stand behind their products!!!

We have enjoyed coloring with these pencils. They work well for filling in small or large, detailed coloring pages. The colors are soft light or soft dark depending on the pressure you put on the pencil. The pencil quality seems very good - the coloring tips don't break too easily while coloring. They come in a nice, convenient, tin pencil case which protects your sharp pencil tips. Enjoy!

Some times when you buy adult coloring books the colored pencils that is included are just too weak and does not give vivid colors and that is what we were seeking when we bought this Coloroilo colored pencil set. As our first coloring book picture is now nearly finished it is just what we wanted. The leads do not break when we use the small manual sharpener provided in the set. One thing we also use is a template from adrafting set with all the circles and ovals in increasing sizes and also has edges for straight lines. Look for one of these to complement yourpencil set.
