Small, no frills backpack.
Please view the attached video to see how this bag may work for school, work, or outdoor carry.HIGHLIGHTS- One main pocket for carrying larger items.- One smaller pocket on the outside for smaller items.- Incredibly thin and light, without feeling flimsy.- Very small, but somehow large enough to fit a 13 inch Macbook Air, iPad Air, and Grid-It with several items (see video)- Can easily fit a hydration pack and other items that you'd take on a hike.Mangrove's outdoor mini backpack is a compact solution for anyone with light carrying needs. It is ideal for those that want to travel light and don't need extra pockets, zippers, and compartments to carry their gear. I tried using it as both a work bag and an outdoor bag.WORK USEThis bag is able to fit 13 inch laptops in addition to other accessories and items. However, it should be noted that a laptop of this size will not fit comfortably and the ends of the bag will stretch a bit. This bag would do much better with 11-12 inch laptops or tablets. There are no inner pockets so a laptop/tablet will not sit securely in the bag. And the lack of additional pockets makes it difficult to carry much more than a few accessories. However, if you're not looking to carry much more than a laptop or tablet with you, this bag is a great, minimalist carrying option. I actually enjoyed just carrying out my MacBook Air and charging brick in this bag with no problems.OUTDOORThis is a great carrying back for a hydration bladder, snacks, or other outdoor/survival gear. It isn't as great for carrying hard water bottles or several objects with sharp corners due to the lack of padding. This bag should be used for light hiking and outdoor use, rather than heavy duty activity. In summary, this is a great bag for it's intended use case. It is a very affordable solution for the minimalist who doesn't need heavy duty gear or extra pockets.I received a free product in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. Not Bad
I opted to try this backpack in place of my sling pack. Originally I wanted it to bring all of my essentials to work; water bottle, small umbrella, lunch, kindle, phone charger, headphones. It ended up not being large enough to fit all of these things and even when I had it packed full there is no support in the back so you are likely to have something protruding into your back uncomfortably. The straps are also pretty thin so if you need straps with thick padding you may opt for something else, although given that you cannot carry much in the pack to begin with, it is unlikely it will be so heavy as to hurt your shoulders. I ended up using my sling bag again but I started using this pack to bring with me to the park when walking my dog. It is plenty large enough to fit a 32 oz. Nalgene water bottle, collapsible water bowl, a roll of waste bags, treats, and a few toys such as a small squeak ball. If you plan on carrying very few things in the pack then I would recommend it, but if you need to carry your lunch, water bottle, umbrella, a book or a kindle and other things then maybe look for something else.

Buyer Beware with New Manufacturer
I had bought one of these from the original manufacturer. It was the perfect size for me and I had taken it to many countries and on many hikes. The size was perfect that I even recommended it to a few of my friends. When the one I originally had was worn, I ordered a new one as a replacement. At first glance, it looked the same but this new one ripped with its second use. Note that I was actually carrying only 1/4 of my usual load with the first and had seen extremely light usage. The fabric just came apart from the stitching around the zipper. It appears that the quality control has decreased significantly so buyer beware. While I would rate the original at a 5, it has now dropped to a 1.

Logos are ok not too big and can easily be covered with a patch
Thin on the side, but large enough to fit at least two 1.5 liter bottles. Logos are ok not too big and can easily be covered with a patch.Color Black Panther is not really black, but a dark gray. Not as "mini" as expected but it works fine for a day-backpack, which is really what it is.

Great size for walks, Awkward straps
I like the size and profile of the bag, I usually take this out when I take my dog out on long walks, when I dont have pockets. The bag profile is very slim probably less then 4 inches, which is good for a water bottle/flashlight and normal edc (wallet, phone, keys). The only reason I gave it 4 stars, is the straps are awkward. Due to the bag being so small, the straps ended up too close together, so they don't end up flat against your shoulders or chest, and tend to flare outwards. with how thin the straps are, I feel they should make the straps narrower and farther apart in order to fix that. With how thin the straps are, making them wider wont make them more comfortable, and with how thing the material of the bag is, you shouldn't be putting anything heavy in the first place.

Excellent backpack, tight fit for spiralbound notebook
This backpack seems very well made. Exactly as described. Has thin foam padding in back, so it holds its shape. I am a little bummed that it just barely fits my 9.5" x 11" spiral bound notebook, however. I have to slide it into the main pouch, then in order to zip it closed, I have to pull one side of the backpack over one of the top corners of the notebook at a time before zipping it closed. I cant just slide it in and zip it closed. This isn't that big of an issue, but it is such a tight fit I'm concerned it may bend the corners of my notebook. I tried to return this 10l backpack so I could buy the 15l version (MANGROVE Ultralight Compact Waterproof Backpack 15L, Black), but this item is not returnable. I do not blame Amazon, nor the seller for this though. I should have read the return policy before buying. I will use this pack anyways, and hope my notebook will not get bent corners.
