The original listerine is amazing! It definitely kills the germs. I use this to gargle when I’m getting sick or am sick. It helps cut the sick time almost in half. I also use it when I have mouth ulcers from my autoimmune disease, keeping everything clean in there. It does burn, is very strong, and can really dry out your mouth. I use at my own risk because my autoimmune already dries out my mouth so it makes it even worse but sometimes the issue of that out weighs the other things going on, especially when it really does help. It tastes awful but again it’s worth it.

This is the only mouthwash I use. I feel it kills everything. I like to use the pulling oil and then Listerine. The taste isn't that bad. It's not good by any means. But it doesn't have that gross after taste of sugar sitting on my teeth. The fun part is trying to see how long you can actually handle it. Because I think it says something like 3-5 min. It's great help with a certain oral activity. Creates a lot of saliva. Your welcome!

If you can work up your tolerance to the strong medicinal taste and the intense "burning" feeling this causes, it's truly one of the best mouthwashes for your oral health! It's great for plaque and tartar. I almost gave up at first because it made my mouth dry, but that subsided after a few weeks of daily use (so don't give up!). Keep in mind, this is quite acidic so always be sure to either rinse with water afterwards or follow with another mouthwash like ACT.

I've been using other mouthwashes for a while. I kind of branched out and tried different brands for a long while. I decided to come back to Listerine because it's always quality and you know what you're getting. Also, I have some sensitivity to certain consistensies, flavors, textures etc. Some neurodivergence. I have officially switched to using children's toothpaste because the flavors help me to not have to experience overly sweet/minty toothpastes.😮‍💨 So now that my toothpaste ISN'T minty, I still want to make sure that I am getting that extra clean all over my mouth. So I returned to the tried and true....LISTERINE. I know that Listerine is going to destroy any bacteria left after brushing and flossing! I love pairing my fruity toothpaste with Listerine. It makes brushing my teeth less of a frustrating experience for me. I have no complaints at all. My Listerine was delivered quickly and packaged well. I switched over from another mouthwash I was using immediately. Very decent and reasonable price point. Large bottle. 5 extremely happy stars!

This mouthwash is the gold standard for getting that "dentist-clean" feeling and killing germs that cause bad breath. It is incredibly effective, though the intense alcohol formula has a very strong sting that might be too much for some. If you can handle the 30-second burn, it leaves your mouth feeling fresh for hours.

This Listerine is the strongest and the best. This colour is stronger and works better for me, it makes my mouth feels fresh and any discomfort in the mouth, a few gargle with this Listerine and all is well. I use only this one .

I've been using this for decades & there's no reason to try these other new products with "enhancements" including from this company. With every mouthful, even slightly diluted, I can feel it as though I sense it's killing germs. I belong to to two membership clubs; one never sold it & the other seems to have dropped this version and now only has "cool ice" or whatever; it looks like Kool-aid. I was glad to find that Amazon had it at a decent price.

Sept 19th 2025: Thank you for allowing us access to the Original Listerine which is by far their best product even though its discontinued in the UK! Its an expensive import but at this current price its still possible, any more and it wouldn't be. Updated: 13th October2025: price rise of 27% or more ( depending on which option you choose) in one month! Now at unreachable price.. what a shame! ....
