6 year old FINALLY likes her hair brushed
Like most other little girls, brushing hair without the right brush is a NIGHTMARE! You feel bad that you are yanking her head back as you brush it for her and she yells OWW. Was a little sceptical about this product. It kind of looked cheap to me and it had no handle. When it arrived, I became even more sceptical. It looked like a "cute" horse brush with cheap plastic bristles on it. HOWEVER, when we tried it out it worked GREAT! It went through the hair smooth with no yanks or yelps. My daughter who used to absolutely hate brushing her hair, will now sit and brush her hair sometimes as she is watching TV or just hanging out.Although there are cute colors to choose from, the product looks cheap but performs like a champ. I would highly recommend this to anyone in a similar situation as mine.FYI on child hair type- White/Mexican girl, fairly thin and straight hair that tangles easily, about mid-back in length

Fillipino Baby hair, waist length
I was skeptical about a 12$ brush, but the tears and fighting were ruining bath time and mornings! Sissy is 3 years old, has never had her hair cut, so it is about waist length and it is very fine, but wavy. And 5 minutes after I get it into braids, it looks like she slept in them...This brush is AMAZING! I have already bought 2 more for back ups. She asks me to brush her hair now and she uses it on herself...not well, but she tries. I start at the bottom in sections and work my way up. The parts that are always problems where she sleeps and the hair looks like a nesting ground for rodents---this brush easily teases out, mostly painlessly. If she yipes, it was because I was getting hurried and didn't gently let the brush do it's magic.Even my 5 year old son asks me to use the 'girl' brush on him sometimes, as it feels like "a massage"I would buy this again 100 times over...I'm going to start giving them as gifts...

From Ends to Roots
First off I'd like to say that I've had this for almost a month now and have been using this as my comb of choice. I'm biracial consisting of African American and Filipino so my hair has always been a challenge for me when it came to tangles. My outer hair is easy to manage and doesn't have a lot of tangles, but the inner part near the back of my head is the most problematic. I've tried paddle brushes, and wide tooth combs and found it painful to comb my hair. The tangle teezer is a breeze when combed from my ends to my roots. I do only use it with a conditioner because I found that trying to comb my hair while dry pulls out more hair than when it's conditioned. I do not use this in the shower as I have the Tangle Teezer Aqua Splash. As far as losing hair, it's going to happen. I lose a little bit of hair, but not nearly as much as I did when using a paddle brush. I feel that this brush is worth trying if you have those naughty tangles that have been a pain to get rid of. If you fear losing hair then this may not be for you, but I would still give it a try to see how it works against tangles. The brush fits in the palm of my hand just fine. The bristles are somewhat soft, but durable enough to comb through hair. The bristles are actually two different lengths which works great in think and thin hair. When using the brush, I like to divide my hair into small sections rather than just comb my hair all in one. Overall I would recommend this brush to anyone that has tangles that hurt to comb out.

Wonderfully gentle
This is the best brush for fine hair prone to knots. Even when I went through a period of hair loss, this brush was so gentle that it didn't pull. I have used this on a child who usually hated getting her hair brushed but didn't mind at all with this. I use this on my hair straight of the pool, with the chlorine making it sticky, and it still doesn't pull.I do wish it had a handle. It is so light weight, that I sometimes lose my grip on it and send it flying across the room. Also, could we get some less childish colors?

Tangles and Tears No More!
At age 5, my daughter used to cry every morning when I brushed her hair for school, which I always tried to do as gently as possible. It was a painful experience for BOTH of us! I bought conditioners and detangling sprays, and while they helped a little, brushing still hurt. My daughter has straight thick hair, but it is prone to tangling, especially at the ends. She has sensitive skin, where every little scrape really does hurt (she's not a drama queen). I hunted these down on Amazon, and the reviews convinced me to give it a try. I'm so glad we did!!! No more tangles, and no more tears!!! We have been using these for three years now, and we own 4 of them (fantastic in the swim bag for after lessons or trip to the beach). She brushes her own hair now, and this brush has a fantastic shape for kid hands. Highly recommend it to anyone struggling with tangles and tears!

It's just ok
I purchased this brush for my toddler, who has long hair that tangles easily. Every morning would be a battle between her, her brush, and a whole lot of detangler spray. Based on the reviews, I had high hopes for the Tangle Teezer. (By the way, you usually can get it much cheaper elsewhere...)Pros: I do think it gets the tangles out with fewer brushstrokes and possibly a bit less pain.Cons: If you are seeking a miracle, you may be disappointed. This brush is very plastic-y (meaning no soft rubber tips on the bristles or grip on the back). I knew there was no handle - though why they don't put a handle on it is a mystery to me - but that part didn't bother me so much as the fact that I just spent more than $10 on a brush that didn't do what I'd hoped it would. My daughter still cries. The tangles still take some work to get out. My daughter claims to prefer her old brush, and personally I can't see a whole lot of difference.

10/10 would recommend.
I love using Tangle Teezers. They're great quality and the colors on them are very bold and pretty. They make my hair look a lot more voluminous and are so much better at detangling hair than traditional fine tooth combs. You can use them on both wet and dry hair, but personally, I just use mine on my dry hair. If you're curious I have mid-length, relatively straight, black hair black hair with medium thickness and layers at the bottom. This comb also makes my layers look fantastic.

Bueno pero caro
No lo creí tan poderoso honestamente, lo compré por probarlo y si desenreda sin problema mi cabello el cual a pesar de ser lacio al ser muy delgado se enreda terrible. Me funcionó bastante bien aunque el precio algo superior

Amazing detangling product. Perfect!
No brush that I used till now was as awesome as this one. Was suggested by a friend and my hairs are so very happy and healthy. They hardly break and are so easily detangled.

Amazingly effective
It really helps in detangling really fast, I have this frizzy wavy hair and it really took just 2-3 strokes for it to detangle entirely. Very soft and nitat all harsh on hair

The best brush for disabled and hypermobile hands
I have long, thick, wavy hair that has been very difficult to manage my entire life, but it had very getting worse due to arthritis and some autoimmune issues. My hair will tangle or fall out easily, leading it to often just have to be put up in a bun or pony tail due to my health issues.Since procuring this little brush, I have had far fewer tangles, less hair loss around the house, and my hair has begun filling in where it had become a bit more thin due to my health. The brush is easy to find, easy to hold with a disability, and easy to clean and carry with you.
