SAOL 100% Merino Wool Men's Irish Traditional Aran Crew Neck Cable Knit Sweater Pullover

I’ve always wanted to own an Irish-made, 100% wool sweater. I was never satisfied with those that I had purchased. This one is different. It is beautiful, warm, stylish, and very well-made. The wool is soft and NOT itchy. I plan to purchase another one. It is a little pricey compared to others, but well worth the cost. It runs a little on the big side so get the next size smaller.

Love the blue!!! Size runs big in the sleeves and middle but otherwise perfection. Will be perfect for layering but a bit itchy as expected on pure skin. Love it. Wish it came XS I would buy more.

The sweater was exactly what I ordered but the size was a bit too big. I returned the sweater and ordered a smaller size and it fit perfectly! The shipping was quick and the return process was easy. The replacement sweater arrived within a couple of days! The colour of the sweater is gorgeous and it is soft and comfortable to wear. It stretched out a bit after washing but not too badly. It still fits and is holding its colour. It is exactly what I was looking for!

A nice wool sweater I was born in Ireland and lived in a county near where these sweaters were knitted. I wore one almost everyday. Maybe my bad memory but I remember them being heavier (thicker) however these are soft and warm and a good price. Buy one ...it’ll last you a lifetime.

Sweater was loose knit, not very tight in weave, light in weight, no" heft" or heavy feel as I would expect from a wool Irish Aran sweater, wool was somewhat scratchy, I expected a little more softness from Merino wool. A little disappointed in purchase. Color was beautiful.

I got the 3XL green for my husband to wear for the Christmas season and he got multiple compliments on it everywhere we went. The green is a bit darker than the listing shows, but it's still absolutely beautiful, and so soft! The fit was a bit large, but it's high quality. Would definitely recommend!

This is a thick sweater. Looks better in person.. I'm 511 190 normally a large went with the XL because wool is easy to shrink. It ran really long and wide- don't size up!!

This sweater is even more beautiful in person. It is soft and very warm and fits perfectly. It was less expensive than similar sweaters I bought in the past and much nicer.

Besonders warm und weich

My hardest decision on this sweater was which size to buy. I'm 5'11" 185 pounds. I went with the extra large (I hate tight clothing) and it was the perfect fit. Sleeve length is great. Got the dark grey which goes with everything. It's warm. I do wear a T-shirt underneath it, but being Merino wool it's not very itchy. If you have very sensitive skin any wool can be itchy. And I have sensitive skin. On a scale of 1 to 10....10 being extremely itchy, this is a 1. Did I say it's warm? Wow! Awesome for this fall weather. The knit is beautiful. There are Saol sweaters on here that are 10-20 bucks cheaper...but they are only 30% Merino and 70% Acrylic. Pay the extra bucks and get the 100% Merino. You'll be glad you did, especially if you live in a cold climate. This is not a sweater you throw in the wash after every time you wear it. When it does get dirty gently handwash in cool water with Woolite, and lie flat on a towel to dry. (Hang drying might stretch it)I've had nothing but compliments on it.I might even buy a second one in a lighter grey, I love this sweater so much.
