Tough 1 Bot Egg Knife

If used properly it works pretty well. No complaints and for the price it’s great quality. No sensitivity noted during use.

Unbeatable tool for $4.99 Removes botfly eggs quickly and is satisfying to use- plus my horses enjoy it. They’ll freely stand for 20 min while I scrape the eggs off. The multiple angles of the knife work on difficult places in your horse. So easy I let my kids safely use it under supervision. The blade is unique- not like a sharp knife that could cut your horse; it only scrapes the eggs off.

This is my first season dealing with bot eggs so I don’t have a comparison of products, but this seems to work as intended. It is lightweight but sturdy, fits my hand easily, and pretty easily removes the eggs from my horse’s fur. It doesn’t magically get every single one, but much better than I could do with a regular brush or comb. Plastic handle, metal comb type blade kind of like a Furminator if you’ve ever used that for your dog or cat.

Needed a new bot knife and this proved to be the perfect choice. Easy to use, lightweight, and the curve of the entire tool made my work a breeze.
