I try to grow something fun every year. I almost gave up on these germinating, and then I read the package. It could take a couple of months! Once they germinated they grew quickly, and are beautiful. Only sad part is we'll have to wait another 2 years before we can harvest.

Have always wanted to grow asparagus and finally lived in an area it could thrive. It seems a large majority came up- and I just tried to follow the directions on the package to grow them! They all thrived well and are know spreading their little roots in an outside bed. Now for the couple years until they are edible nummers! Worth every penny- once we can start eating them and not having to buy in the store!!

Only five germinated, but those few were doing very well here in high-elevation Arizona, until severe hail decimated them. Broke my heart. Will try them again next year.
