I purchased new linens and my sister recommended this linen wash, so I purchased the small 8oz to try it out. Excellent product and I highly recommend it. It left my bedding smelling amazing, very soft and fresh. While it may seem pricey, it’s definitely worth the investment to care for your fine linens. I plan of purchasing the bigger size.

I got this because we recently purchased a linen duvet. It works wonderfully on linen, even getting out stains where my dog incessantly licks her feet My husband and I love the scent so I’ve been washing our towels as well as our sheets with it We’ll probably indulge in the larger size container when I finish this one. It makes beautiful suds (don’t use more than about 2 TB’s if you have soft water) and makes the house smell fantastic!! My husband says the scent reminds him of how his Granny’s laundry would smell coming off the wash line. It does not smell like old lady perfume to us, as others have said, but very soft and nostalgic. I bought the small sample sizes to try first before purchasing because of the vast differences of opinions on the scent. I realize that scents are a very subjective thing, but I recommend it whole heartedly!!

I like to sleep on smooth silky cotton sheets. I do not like sheets that have those annoying fabric pills or feel rough. That's why I love Le Blanc linen wash. This detergent protects my investments in quality bedding throughout the home. In spite of the high price of this detergent (fortunately, you only need a touch of it), I have used this product (and ONLY this product) on my bed linens for about 6 years now. Incredibly, the bed linens in my house have the same luster, colors and softness that they did around 6 years ago! I have never presoaked any items -- the detergent takes care of it all. I just add a tiny bit of detergent, run the front-load washer on the cold cycle, then dry the sheets on low heat. This detergent has also worked wonders on antique tablecloths and linen tablecloths. I particularly enjoy the Summer Verbena scent, which is light, fresh and welcoming. Although I like all of Le Blanc's laundry products, this is my hands-down favorite.

I have used this product for years and it smells so nice on my sheets and pillow cases. I can reccomend this product to anyone if you want to smell so good in bed. Great product.

We just bought some high end linen sheets and want to use the best detergent to maximize the lifespan.I chose the Portfolio Linen wash, but after 20+ years of buying only unscented laundry detergent, the scent is overwhelming.I'll purchase the unscented and maybe add in a tiny bit of the Portfolio with each wash just to work through it.The packaging is a semi complaint. We normally use the detergent sheets, so going back to liquid in a plastic bottle is unfortunate.Note that the measuring cup is a separate purchase as is the pump attachment. I wish the need to purchase the cup had been in the description, but I guess from a recycling/waste perspective, I appreciate that it's not included with every purchase.

I dislike scented products and always buy unscented if an option. It has been years since I've used a scented soap/personal care product etc. So perhaps that's why the lingering odor of this detergent is so stunning. But I don't think so. I was careful to measure right quantity of detergent into my HE laundry machine, but when I took out my XL linen tablecloth, the odor of this detergent was so strong that I ran the tablecloth in the machine again, without any detergent, just to rinse the odor out of the fabric. Then I did it again for a third wash with water only. It still reeks of perfume, and so does my laundry room, and the entire 15 foot hallway that leads to my laundry room. It's really stunning. Product cleans well, but, my god, it stinks.
