This was a home run from start to finish
Was a little concerned about all the negative reviews but went with it anyway since my friend has the 49”. It’s a great great great tv. Wonderful picture quality (definitely change the picture to natural like another reviewer said), super easy set up and great sound. I dig the remote too. Only negative is the apps you can’t delete from your Home Screen otherwise worth every penny. Very very happy with this purchase. Samsung makes an excellent product here.

Good picture quality, some questionable design decisions
We bought this to replace a 4 year-old Samsung TV whose picture was beginning to have problems. I don't know if this is typical of flat-screen TV lifetimes, but the Sony Trinitron that "old" Samsung replaced was more than a decade old and still had an excellent picture.TL;DR: This is a very nice 43 inch television at a good [discounted] price, with some caveats that may or may not apply to most buyers.PROS:Excellent picture quality.Manual functions: finally, a flat TV one can turn on/off, change volume and channels when you can't find your remote control. The controls are hidden and not easy to access, but at least they exist.Set up was quite easy.SURPRISE:This model has an "ambient mode" which we had thought was limited to those ultra-expensive wall-mounted Samsungs. It allows you to set the normally blank screen to any of a number of supplied images or your own photos. I have no idea what this will do to your electric bill if you use it, but once in a while it may be a nice treat.CONS:The ARC is assigned to HDMI-2. This is a problem for those of us with old DVRs that recognize only HDMI-1 and HDMI-2. The TV does have an optical input that you can use for, for example, a Sonos Beam. Why Samsung decided to make HDMI-2 rather than HDMI-3 the ARC option is beyond me, and I sincerely hope they change this in future models. The distance between the feet is 32.6". We hoped it would fit on our stand which is 32.5" wide. What's 1/10 inch, right? Wrong. We forgot that these feet are very, very, very narrow. So, as we had to do with the 32" inch model we bought earlier this year, we created extensions with heavy duty cardboard and have taped both the feet and the cardboard down to within an inch of their lives. We are hoping that between that and the earthquake straps, we have sufficiently secured the TV. Samsung informed us that the switch from a central base to these widely spaced feet was to allow people to put their external sound bars underneath the TV. (See Hints.) At the very least, they should have made the feet wider or made 3-point feet rather than 2-point feet. The Samsung Hub now has extremely tiny icons, presumably to fit more on the screen. They are very irritating. Our Xfinity icon is black. We can't, apparently, move it to the first position on the left. So every time we turn the TV on, the pointer is on the Free TV icon and we inevitably overshoot the Xfinity icon when we move right. I honestly can see no reason at all for 1) the smaller icons or 2) the inability to focus the Hub on Xfinity, which is our primary channel.HINTS:When we first set up the TV, we couldn't change cable channels with the remote. What happened? We had positioned our Sonos Beam in front of the TV. Wrong move. Samsung's IR ( and its manual controls) are centrally located on the bottom of the TV. The Beam interrupted that signal. So we moved the Beam underneath the TV.After setting up the Beam with the Optical connector, we were unable to change the volume with the Samsung remote control. Solution (thank you Sonos help staff): scroll way, way, way over to the far right of Sources until you get to "Universal Remote". Select it and choose the Home Theater Option. Tell it the model number (for the Beam, it is BEAM1US1BLK). Then Samsung will prompt you with a power test. This will not work with the Beam. However, that didn't matter. We exited the set up function and our Samsung remote can now control the Optical volume. We've had the TV up and running for only a week and will update this post if we discover anything else we think might be useful.

Easy install and set-up.
No problem setting up. Easy to read and follow directions. I used the earlier suggestion to put the boxed unit on the bed and install the feet before pulling the whole unit all the way out. The picture is vivid and images are defined well. The smart features are great! The price is right for the quality. The antenna I already had worked fine.. This was a one person job for a senior. So far no problems.

Dual led, Good grey scales
Great color and black. Dual led is final tech in lcd tv. Samsung next tv goes to qd oled. But this tv series remains top lcd tv for good grey scales like panasonic kuro in pdp. Also the astonishing price, I recommend this.I used this a few months and I knew this tv Ai upscaling is fantastic. James bond series in 60’s made by 1080p is really looked in 4k and sharp detail pictures. I recommend tv menu in picture expert setting ‘contrast enhancer’ set by ‘weak’

Bought this for gaming
Mostly bought this TV in preparation for the new Xbox series X and for what it is, it’s perfect. Good picture quality, plenty of settings to change the way the picture looks. As far as features and using apps on it I’m not sure probably will never use them. Setup took maybe 5 minutes from start to getting it to where I wanted, not sure what these other people are talking about. But playing COD modern warfare on Xbox 1 looks amazing and if you’re just looking for a good deal on a 4K TV for gaming like me, this is THE TV for you

I AM IMPRESSED!!
This is my first 4k Tv and i have no regrets buying it at all, when i first starting watching it I didn't understand why the Picture quality looked well...not 4k lol, come to find out to display 4k with a 4k tv the program needs to be running in 4k so unfortunately most Cable channels (and some YouTube videos) won't look all that great But still get Upscaled, for those who stream Hulu, Netflix etc. it will be running in 4k HDR. The colors and overall contrast are just stunning, sound and bass are exceptional , i got this Tv for the PS5 and i can't wait, please Use 4k HDMI for the FULL 4k experience , if you don't have one they are super cheap so just make the additional purchase thank me later. Don't let the bad reviews warp your judgement everything gets bad reviews, if you have your eyes set on this tv go for it.
