Liberal Propaganda
My four month old daughter absolutely loves the book, but it has undeniably influenced her worldview. I look back fondly on the days when our deep-rooted partisanship didn't infiltrate every element of society. However, the corrupting influence of this book couldn't be more evident:1) The cast of the story is unmistakably diverse, and does not include any white men2) Baby owl is constantly being triggered3) The lack of guns in this story is telling4) Why is so much of this book redacted?5) True fans of the Baby Owl franchise would agree that there is something "off" about grey squirrelEver since we read this story, I've caught my daughter watching Rachel Maddow on numerous occasions. This despite our "no screen" policy for newborns. When she pointed out that her individual freedoms should be protected, I had to admit that she did learn some patriotic American values. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

Great
My 2 1/2 year old grandson loves this book. It’s a sturdy board book, cute pictures and good story. My only complaint is I paid $5.38 with tax. Went to buyI’m not Scared and they wanted $14.99? Same size board book.Very disappointed. I was able to get on EBAY for $4.64 andfree shipping.

Great bedtime toddler/preschool book
I ordered this book through Amazon prime and it came within 2 days and in excellent condition. I had originally checked this book out of the library and my two-year-old loved it! He would keep asking for the "Sleepy Owl Book" back, so I ordered one as part of his Christmas present. It is a great story of a baby owl that gets a little grumpy when he gets sleepy even though the owl doesn't recognize that he is sleepy. I refer back to this story quite a lot when my son doesn't want to go to bed at night yet is cranky. I ask him to remember the story of sleepy baby owl and even though he may not "think" he is sleepy, he may need a little rest to feel refreshed and less grumpy.

Yes I recommend!!!
My grandkids love this book. Such a cute and simple story with a gentle rhythm. Perfect to lull young children (up to age 3) into a sleepy state before nap or bedtime. I buy this book for all my friends as a new baby gift and everyone loves it!

Cute and A Great Story Where Dad Comforts
My son loves any books with owls. This one is very cute. I especially love that it ends with the baby cuddling in his father's arms. So many bedtime books have baby and mama, baby and mama. (Which is great for me since I'm the Mama) But it's nice to have the Dad come in and be the final one to help baby to sleep!

Great nighttime book
I bought this book to replace the one the grands had ruined. It is a very simple story and funny!

Cute and well-written book for little ones!
This is such a cute, well-written bedtime story! It is very animated, which makes reading it so fun. We are huge book lovers in our house, and purchased this book to grow our bedtime story collection. My 21 mo old twins love this one. You won't regret this purchase!

Okay book, not the best.
Took a while to receive the book from out of stock status. Once I got it, I read to my daughter and felt the book wasn’t a very smooth read. I consider myself an excellent reader and I’m Not Sleepy! just did not flow well. It definitely is no Pout Pout Fish in terms of content and flow.

Not as good as previous Baby Owl books
My son LOVES the Baby Owl character and we also have I'm Not Cute and I'm Not Scared. We have read these other two books A LOT!!! This book does hold his interest and to be fair, had this come out first it may (perhaps?) have been a bigger hit. In comparison to the previous two books, this one seems a little lack lustre and seems to have come out riding on the coat tails of its predecessors' success. With "I'm Not Sleepy", there is no huge grin of excitement on my two year old's face when we are reading it. It may seem a little unfair to compare but I would definitely say (in my humble opinion) that this book, although good, is the weakest of the "I'm Not ..." series. Such a shame, we were really looking forward to getting the book and felt a little disappointed when we read it. Buy it if your child loves the series, but if you don't buy it your child isn't missing anything special.

I'm not Sleepy!
This is a great series, but as the previous reviewer said, this is not a 'must read'. Very similar in format to "I'm not cute!", it has baby owl feeling tired after being up all night, although not admitting he is sleepy. Eventually he falls asleep as his daddy reads him a story and is put to bed and told 'goodnight'. Both my kids asked why his daddy said 'goodnight' when he is going to sleep in the daytime? So, for that mistake it has to lose a star. Perfectly sweet book though, but if you are going to miss one out of the series, then you could probably lose this one without missing too much.

Simple and fun reading
My daughter loves these owl titles, this particular book for some reason she's terrified of the woodpecker, I'm guessing it's something about the illustration, but she loves the story

Fantastic Owl Books
This is the third I'm not book I have bought they are a great favourite of my 2 year old Granddaughter. Have bought the board books as they are very durable. I'm Not Sleepy is our latest purchase following on from I'm Not Cute and I'm Not Scared.
