Unique, bold flavors
The extra $$ you pay for these beans go straight into the bolder, fruitier, and acidic notes from these. After roasting you will immediately know the difference between these and typical Central American beans that you’ve roasted. Beans have consistent size, and not too much pulp, although you will still have to do a bit of chaff cleaning after the fact. Give these a try if you’ve enjoyed other Grande Parade coffee

Clean robust flavor
Makes a very nice medium-dark roast for espresso beverages. I have found that in order to have a great tasting espresso, you need to have a balance of the bittersweet flavor from a dark roast along with the fruity flavors that can only be preserved by a lighter roast. This gives you depth and complexity along with strength and intensity of flavor. To achieve this, you can either blend medium-dark roasted coffee beans and medium roasted beans, or you can get large beans such as this Supremo, which when to roasted medium-dark level, will still not be as roasted on the inside...this preserves some of fruity flavor and aroma inside the beans, while getting enough caramelization on the outside for the bitterness to develop. This particular coffee is a great quality coffee, the beans are (mostly) consistent in size and clean. The amazingly fruity smell of the green beans is captivating.

Good oil content
After much trial and error as of late, I've finally found a bean that expresses oils enough for dark roasting. I don't know why this has been a difficult search in recent years, as this was not the case for me in the past. Thankfully, this variety has been consistent across multiple batches.

Great flavor
Normally to me, Colombian coffee and most central American coffee tastes like a toasted brown paper bag. This one was really different. I bought it to do a roast for someone else, but ended up keeping most of it for myself. I am on my second bag and will buy it again.

Bad cup
I am a long time customer and had gotten a pretty consistent good product with grand parade. Then I order my usual beans to roast as Christmas presents and I received what I'm guessing as an extremely old crop of beans. I am very disappointed!

Nice product
The bag was full of fresh, perfect beans. I tried doing both a medium roast and a dark roast. I prefer them as a medium roast. It reminds me of the cold brew that Starbucks sold a couple of years ago. I have reordered the Narino plus bags of other single origin beans. I am happy to support a women owned business that sells a great product.

Baggey Tasting / No Customer Support
I bought this a few weeks ago and after roasting it multiple times, The coffee was overwhelmingly baggey tasting. I imagine that this coffee is old or wasn’t stored properly. After multiple attempts to reach out to Grand Parade, they have refused to listen to me. I have three lbs of bad tasting useless coffee. I don’t recommend. Disappointed

Great coffee in every way...but I want to try the others as little samples.
Love this coffee! If you had a sample pack, I would probably purchase a few and experiment on blends. As it is, I have to get the sampler packs from another company.
