Stone Case Company STBag-4D Padded Acoustic Dreadnaught Guitar Gig Bag

I bought this case as temporary protection until I found a hard case to fit my Gretsch Electromatic Center-Block. Well I had only used it a couple of times and had it slung over my shoulder last night and the cheap plastic connector for the shoulder strap broke and sent the guitar to the ground damaging it significantly. The idea that there is dense foam on this is absurd. The only protection that this case gives is from wind. I would have been better off without a case because then it would not have fallen. Don't be fooled by ridiculous marketing comments. There is nothing heavy duty or dense about this.
