Works great.
Purchased for a 150 gallon patio pond. Runs the waterfall built in and a separate waterfall / filter I made with no issues. Easy to clean.

Good company and good product
This is a fish-saver. No matter how often I cleaned the filters on my other pumps, the algae just kept getting thicker, like dark green soup, but this UV filter cleared it all up in just a few days. The first one worked so hard for so long (couple of years) that I feared it would go out and so I bought another. The bulb didn't work in the second one but the seller quickly got a replacement bulb to me.The first pump still works.

Good flow, but can't turn off UV light.
The filter has a pretty good flow, it puts out a lot of water, but I don't like that I cannot turn off the UV light. The only way to run the filter without UV is to remove the UV bulb entirely. It's not too difficult of a process, but it's still a hassle when there could have easily been a separate power cord with a switch for the light. It's not always a good idea to run UV bulbs full time, especially in smaller ponds. I'm using this in my indoor goldfish pond, and I don't have a lot of algae so I don't want the UV on full time.Other than that, it's a pretty good filter. It has a good amount of bio media, which is nice, and the sponge is large and does a reasonably good job of catching debris. It's not the easiest thing to clean though. You have to hall the whole thing out of the pond, unscrew the spout, and unclamp the top before you can get to the sponge. Don't forget there is a small screw that comes factory installed that keeps the top on! You must remove that the first time you open it up. I see no reason to put it back in though, the clamps hold it fine.Anyway, all in all, it does a pretty good job.

Great product
This is a great cleaner for the outside pond!! The fish love it! It was clear in 24 hours!! It is a bit big but it works for my area! I like how it’s adjustable. Well worth the money!!

How to replace UV light
The UV light worked fine for three months and then burned out. The instructioins do not include how to get a replacement bulb. What should I do?Richard Borreca

Great little filter/ fountain
This product is so simple to use. Place the fountain stem on the unit and put it in your pond. The amount of algae that dissipates every day is encouraging. My fault for not buying the larger size but this one is doing the job. My pond ( 1,300 gallons) looked like pea soup and chemicals were not cutting it. I bought a fine filter pad and put it under the waterfall. Placed this pump on the other end. I can already see 3’ down after just two days.I did remove the hidden screw on the side that screws in the top. This makes the lid removable for easy cleaning purposes. This screw is unnecessary and is not mentioned in the instructions. The unit is surprisingly heavy duty.Update:It has been three days running the fountain and using my roll of fine aquarium filter under the waterfall. The pond has gone from pea soup to clear. I can now see the koi swimming on the bottom of the pond. I am convinced that the uv light is killing the algae ( not string algae) that had filled our pond.
