This is a beautiful piece of art. If your looking for something to hack wooden fence post enamies & throw in a axe or knife throwing board this is not your axe the impact may crack the cast metal. If your looking for something way more intresting than a painting to hang on the wall this is your axe. It could be taken off the wall or fire mantle in case needed for self defence. The beautifuly etched stainless steal blades hold a razor sharp edge and the artist took into consideration every detail of functionality in weapons design. Im sure many unwanted intruders would fall before this sturdy axe would suffer any major damadge. If you use it to cut your fire wood while camping I do'nt think you will have to worry about other campers crowding your campsite. Great battle axe.
