An equalize function periodically conditions liquid electrolyte lead-acid batteries. An optional user-friendly digital display is available to monitor PV charge performance. The display shows battery voltage, solar current, charge current and charge mode, either in the controller, as a remote panel installed up to 300 feet away, or both. Optional temperature compensation of charge voltage is also available to further improve charge controller and battery performance. Works as expected
This product was delivered very quickly and works amazingly.Im a mechanical engineer and used this controller for a Feasibility study on photovoltaics. The MPPT performance is amazing.

Will it work for 6 months?
This unit did not last. Backup service from Blue Sky was appalling with them repeatededly telling me it was my connection problem. Not so. They threatened to charge me outrageous service fees if I sent it to them to fix. Its just not worth the trouble. More reliable MPPT units exist that are cheaper.

i love it! the one thing i don't like about ...
i have had my solar boost for over 10 years now, with never a problem. i love it!the one thing i don't like about it is the connections: tiny screws, way too close together. there is no way you could get decent awg wire connected.but that is a small complaint about a stellar product. i wish they made a 60amp version.

Solar Boost 2000e
I bought this unit back in 2004 to use on my solar system for my fifth wheel. I liked it so much that when I upgraded my RV I took it with me and installed in on the new fifth wheel in 2008. It is still functioning as it should without a bit of problems and it does what it says it will. The only reason I am on this site is because I am looking for another one for a complete and different solar project. They sure have gone up in price though!

Works like none other
I've had mine since 2006 with it connected to 6, 6 volt golf cart battery's in my motorhome.Never a bit of trouble, works like a champ. If everything we buy worked this well it would be a perfect world.Liked it so much I just bought a second one for the setup in my cargo trailer doing antique shows.

Excellent Charge Controller for RV
Theses are great controllers. Mine has been in use since 2000. The newer one also come with a five years manufactures warranty.
