This item is just what we needed for our dog when he is chewing a bully stick. This allows him to chew the stick down to about 1-2 inches without swallowing the end. There has been several times he has swallowed it before when we were not able to take it away from him in time and he had difficulty getting it down his throat. This has given us much more peace of mind when he is chewing a stick. It is very effective and cost saving as we would buy a 12 inch stick and end up throwing out the last 3-4 inches to prevent him from choking. I highly recommend this product.

I spent a long time reading through all the reviews of bully stick holders, and decided to purchase this one. It works very well. The important thing is to follow the directions regarding running it under water and inserting the stick at an angle. I didn’t need to use a screw to push out the remaining nub, but can see how that would be useful. This is a very well made and well designed product. The company includes a note of how to contact them with any questions. After seeing how well this worked and the quality, I purchased the medium sized one to use with the thinner bully sticks.

Puppy kept trying to swallow the sticks, so we got this. It worked great for maybe a week, before he figured out how to pull the treat out of it.Would recommend if the main goal is to keep the stick off the ground or from getting lost, but not if your dog is persistent. Whoops.

This is the 3rd bully stick holder I tried and definitely the best. The first only worked with large sticks. The 2nd was super cute shaped like an avocado, but it was too hard to get the stick into it and my dog could pull the stick out. This one I finally could stick a small or decent size stick in without hurting myself, and my dog loves carrying it around. Definitely recommend.

I wanted to love this product. It seemed very, very substantial/sturdy and I was convinced my 65 lb dog would never get the bully stick out of these. It felt “locked” in there. Unfortunately my Houdini dog somehow got the last piece of the bully stick out.

I was a little skeptical at first, but this product did just what it is designed to do! I've used it on my 12-week old Newfoundland puppy as well as my 2 year old Newfoundland!The first time I put a bully stick in and my adult Newf got the end of the bully stick out, but I didn't use a very big bully stick. The next time, I put a collagen stick in and he chewed it until he couldn't and then walked away! As seen in photo.The design allows for my dogs to hold it well while chewing and also prevents it from rolling under furniture! Both dogs like to carry it around even when nothing is in it! And the puppy uses it as a teether.All around, a great product that I will continue to use.

This bully stick holder does not have the screw device in it to hold the stick from preventing choking!!! You can not get your money back and you are stuck with it. Waste of money!!!!!! It’s going in the garbage, I’m not taking a chance on my dog CHOKING!!!!

I liked this so much I purchased all 3 sizes because the bully sticks I buy come in different sizes. Use the smallest size possible so it will really grip the stick. Puts me at ease because I have a small 20 pound dog and was worried he'd chock on the end piece.

The media could not be loaded.  I realized when it arrived that I bought a big one for a smaller dog. But it actually works great cause it keeps it weighted down. The first day he was kinda like “what the heck is this.” It took some getting used to. (A day) He loves it now he can push his paws against it. I was apprehensive about spending that much money on this item. But I feel much better that he’s not gonna choke on the end piece. Worth it to me.

Nothing my dog loves more than settling down with a nice "chewie." But, if you're like me, you worry about t he dog choking on the small nub when they are almost finished with it. I have purchased several different kinds of bully holders and this is by far the best. It is easy to remove the nub when he's finished with it. He can chew on the bully holder and it doesn't get teeth marks in it. It's easy to clean and easy to insert a new stick into. Recommend!

super sturdy but does not hold a bone that is very big in diameter. it holds antlers fine. I may have misread the sizing. however, once i found an item to fit it works great! our bulldog can not get the item out and it also enables him to enjoy a treat using his stubby legs. its the perfect leg extension!! lol
