Inspired to the max
This book is phenomenal- it's incredibly inspiring. The art is wonderful, and the stories are super inspiring, especially since many of them involve some role models of mine. The art is actually great, every single "bucket list item" is illustrated and done so beautifully. It also had more information about the cast of the Buried Life, which was great and interesting to know and learn. I loved it... Even though it wasn't technically like a story book or anything, it was still great to read. I would highly recommend it.

Such an inspiring book!
This book I bought after I saw these guys on tv and they intrigued me. This book is inspiring, full of fun stories, great quotes and stories from people they have met along the way. If you want somthing that is just a feel good book get this book, it is awesome and these guys are great. Like I said it's not a page by page written book it's full of pictures from their adventures and people they have met. It's light but a feel good book. These guys are so inspiring I could only wish to have the way to travel around and do all the things they have done. I hope they keep adding to thier list and come out with a new book, this book left me with hope....I love it!Diane

More an art book than a self-help book.
There is one quote per page. A quote they received from people they met. And that's all. Some strange designs. I read it in 30 minutes. Some sentences are inspiring and touching, others are borderline stupid. I'm mixed.

booyah
This book was not what I had expected, it wasn't a book full of writing. It did have some short chunks of writing, but it was mainly pictures. Don't get me wrong, the pictures and captions are incredibly moving and inspirational- I'm so happy I purchased this book, it really made a difference in my life.

Buy this book before you die
My friend showed me her copy of the book and I went home to order mine immediately. This is the kind of book that you need to keep handy for a daily dose of inspiration and encouragement. The images and ideas are inspiring, funny and moving. You can't put the book down without reflecting on your own life and realizing that life is short so we must begin to truly live. It's a concept I sometimes forget which is why this book is sitting on my coffee table. Get the book and let it inspire you to follow your own dream.

All Hype, No Substance ... Not Even Any Fun
I like books full of photos, good quotes, etc. I have a shelf of just those kinds of books, and when I don't actually want to read I pull one out and flip through it. Usually I get a laugh, some motivation, or a bit of inspiration. Not with this one. This is so obviously a "picture book" published to make money and serve no other function. I'm returning it to Amazon. It's four very young guys who don't seem to have any time constraints, physical issues, or financial limitations, who do a couple of quirky things. Whoopee. Littered in between the half dozen or so paragraphs of tiny text are a whole lot of mediocre quotes and a few stories of other people who've done "bucket list" types of things. That's all you'll find in here, people. Save your money. Oh! And avoid the videos these little entrepeneurs made to suck even more of your money. One of my students saw the first one and said it's junk.

A most excellent inspiration!
I bought three copies of this book. One for myself and two to give away. The message that you can do anything is one that people today need to hear! The illustrated list items and anecdotes moved me from laughter to tears. There are stories from the TBL crew that have not been shared before. I recommend What Do You Want To Do Before You Die? to anyone who is looking for some inspiration to get started on goal (as well as for people who enjoy the Post Secret book style). Definitely a good coffee table book/conversation starter!
