Pug Perfect
This was the perfect puzzle piece for our Pug to have as her sleep crate in the corner of our living room. Aside from the overwhelming pine wood smell and what seemed like fiberglass powder needing to be wiped off the crate with a damp rag it will work great for our girl. She’s 25lbs and this crate is great to be a more permanent furniture looking crate but can fold down when time comes to put the Christmas tree in this corner of the room. Minimal assembly as all you’d need to do is install the hardware latches and lid band but we only installed the latch since our pug won’t be trying to bust the roof off or anything dramatic and keeps the design more furniture cabinet looking rather than dog crate. The wood is not very high quality so be aware if you’re trying to fit a 40+ dog in here it’s likely to creak and wear quickly.

Built Cheap
I had such high hopes for this crate. It came with a small ding in the top which I thought was not a big deal. But the wood that this crate is made out of is extremely flimsy and weak. The side panels don’t even close. My dog destroyed this crate, while wearing a dog cone. Very disappointed.

Customer Service is great... had issues with product though...
We really loved this crate. It folds so nicely for travel and gives the dog a wonderful place in the hotel rooms that is secure. And when home we use it too. It really does look like a piece of furniture! The assembly is a piece of cake! So easy. And so easy to fold up and take with you. It did have a slight odor on arrival and some beading which we though was varnish or something. But we aired it out and the odor dissipated. We wiped it down as well and started using it. The dog loved it right away. The tray is very nice too and the door can be secured/locked if needed. The lid also lifts up so there are two ways to access---the door and the top! Wonderful design.Unfortunately there must have been more varnish or whatever it was than we realized because the dog started licking and then chewing at it in multiple place inside the crate on the wooden areas. Typically the dog is not a chewer, so we were very surprised that he was licking and chewing to the point of splinters showing. He did not get injured fortunately because we caught it early. We were so disappointed because we loved this thing! We contacted the customer service and they were so helpful. They refunded it right away. And we will be ordering another in the future; hopefully a different kind that does not have this varnish. They were professional and responsive. Even with the issue we were happy with the experience. Made in China.

The best!!!
I’ve had this crate for over a year now and wanted to wait to write a review to really make sure it’s stable. If you’re looking for a pet crate that not only withstands one crackhead cat but TWO- this is your absolute best option. It’s stable, the process of unboxing it and setting it up was super quick, and cleaning it is even quicker. I got a pet crate insert bed from my local pet store to place on the tray, and I rotate blankets and flannels in it.My cats adore it, even when I was cleaning it today the younger one was meowing and running around it trying to get in as I was vacuuming the bed. As you can see there’s slight wear on the top part as that’s where the cats claws are the most, and they aren’t gentle when they’re stretching and using it as a ledge to grab on to.12/10 would recommend and have recommended it to many friends and family, as my younger one is a spawn from hell some nights and I have to “put him in kitty jail” for the night but when I do he goes right in and right to sleep.Again, if you’re looking for something that not only tames the beast for the night but also something your pets will love right away that’s better than the standard crate by a million- this is your go-to.

cute, decorative, not a crate
Really cute but definitely cannot withstand a dog that is stronger than an Extra small dog. It’s not really meant to be used as a real crate or even to be used for anything except maybe decor. It’s could break in a second with just a push.

It’s not great but It works.
I live in a 300 sq foot studio so everything needs to have a purpose or multiple purposes in order for it to stay. I have a 60 pound Aussie who I kennel from time to time when people come over because he can be too excited. I hated the way his kennel looked because it just made my apartment look so cluttered. I’ve been eyeing furniture kennels for a while but they’re always geared towards little dogs so I was excited to find this and it be big tall enough for him and the fact it folds for “easy travel” was a bonus. However it arrived today and the quality is not what I was expecting for the price. It feels very flimsy and it had a very strong odor. It made my tiny apartment smell like Home Depot. I’ve been airing out my apartment for 6 hours now and the smell still hasn’t left. While the product itself feels cheaper it serves its purpose but if I knew what it was prior to buying it I don’t think I would have bought it. I honestly won’t be using it to travel as it feels like it could fall apart any second. I’ll probably add stuff to make it completely stationary and more stable. Also you will need a screw driver or drill when setting this up. The locks and hinges are not attached so you have to do it yourself. The one perk is my dog was not hesitant to go inside and seems to really enjoy it. It’s not as tall as I wish it was as he can’t fully stand but it’s very close. It’s big enough for him to turn around and sprawl out so that’s all that really matters as he won’t be in it very often since he typically free roams.
