Formartti Luxury iPhone 6 6s Aluminum Case - Dragon Obsidian Black

WOW!!! This is the second time I'm buying from this collection of "FORMARTTI" iPhone cases and I am completely satisfied! It came with USPS mail in a regular bubble packed packaging. The packaging for this case is amazing! The phone case is metal, lite metal, but feels amazing when you have it on your IPhone 6S PLUS or IPhone 6 PLUS. I have gotten soooooooo many compliments with this case. People think it's a Cartier phone case. I highly recommend this brand of phone cases. Just make sure you don't play with the hinge/clasp that you open on the top to put slide your phone into... it does wear and loosen and will break off or not protect your phone from staying into the frame. It is quite fragile though. You can not drop your phone. It will break, yet if your a careful one... it's completely worth buying. Mind you... it's not made to protect your phone.

I've had this phone case for a few weeks now and I'm still in love with it! I chose to get the pink case because I have a rose gold iPhone and the pink looks really good on my phone. It's a pretty sturdy case (not that I'm dropping my phone a lot), it's a little bulky, but to me, the beauty is worth it. I don't really mess with the latch on the side so I don't have a problem with it. I am always getting compliments on this case too! If you have a rose gold iPhone I'd suggest getting the pink or red case because they match well with rose gold and don't clash. If you've got a gold iPhone I'd get the gold or black case for your phone. If you have a silver iPhone I'd suggest getting the purple, blue, red, pink, or blue case so the rest don't clash with your phone color.

I can't believe how cool this case is - a bit spendy, but I love it and it gets a lot of comments. I would have made this five stars except the top does tend to open quite a bit; other than that, though, it's very sturdy for its delicate appearance.UPDATE 9/6: As I was taking it out of my purse this morning the top part snapped off (the hinge isn't very strong). I am attempting to contact Formartti to see if I can get it fixed and will update.

Updated Review:I've owned the case for over a year and as seen in my original review, I had an issue with the case loosing a stone. I noticed the comment on the original review from Ben T and contacted him for customer support. He has gone above and beyond in terms of customer support. The company really stands behind their product.I will also update my review of the case itself. For the past year that I've used it I have loved it. I find the case really protects the phone well. The case is lightweight, very strong and while not the most durable, as I said above, the company stands behind their product so that isn't an issue. The case is also very very beautiful. I get so many compliments on it.With the customer support I've received and how beautiful and strong the case is, I would say it is a real luxury case and worth every dollar spent on it.Original Review:I would give this case 3.5 stars. I love the look and the weight. Being aluminum it's very lightweight but adds a lot of protection to the phone. I've had it for about a month and one of the stones has fallen out which is why my rating is lower. It would also be better if it screwed closed vs the latch it has. The few times I've dropped it (small height on carpet) the top has popped open. The phone is still very secure due to the tight tolerances but it would be better if the top wasn't so easy to open.

I purchased this case April 13. It arrived quickly and was as unique and well made in appearance as expected upon delivery. Now, only a few months later after treating it with great care, the latch will no longer will remain closed. There is no other dammage to the case and all crystals remain intact. I have not taken the phone in and out of the case, or done anything to overstress the latch mechanism in any way. I have reached out to the manufacturer to see if they will make a warranty repair. They have responded and I am awaiting their decision after sending them photos of the case today. I hope to place a follow-up review after this is resolved. For now I would say it has been too much money spent for too little time in use.UPDATE*************As promised, my follow-up. I contacted customer support at Formartti on line via e-mail. I received a response and forwarded pictures of the case to show there was no damage due to abuse, as well as my receipt of purchase. I got a quick response again (From the home office in Taiwan) that my warranty support would be forwarded to Formartti USA. I promptly heard from Formartti USA support who was willing to have it sent to be fixed or replaced if needed by them, but also offered the procedure I coud try to tighten the mechanism myself. It was very simple and it worked! Their customer service was EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!! So, I have altered my previous 3 star to 5 star. I now have a beautiful case and great confidence in the manufacturer.

Beautiful and unique phone case - I have never seen anything like it before! My 4 year old calls it my princess phone...It is pricey but I usually pay at least $35-40 for the cute phone cases anyway so it's not super crazy to pay $100 for a phone case but I did have to think about it and I was going back and forth about which color I should pick. I really like the champagne color because I have the pink iphone and the pink/champagne colors are so popular right now. However I also thought the gold would be just too flash. Eventually I picked the purple because that's my color right now. I wanted to match my purse charm because I am really dorky like that. I have only had it a week and several people complimented me on it but I do have to say it is rather embarassing if they ask you how much it is. So YES I love it but NO I don't like the price. It also actually feels a bit more slippery to me now than my previous phone cases. I haven't dropped it yet so I don't know how it will handle it. I will just have to update this later if it happens!

Love. Just received my purple case n even thou its scratched with no protective film, Im still in love with it. And may buy another color this week
