Great Addition for Even Brewing with Bialetti Coffee Makers
The Bialetti Stainless Steel Heat Diffuser is a fantastic accessory for anyone who uses a Bialetti Moka pot or other coffee makers. It works wonderfully to evenly distribute heat, preventing any hot spots that might affect the brewing process. The sturdy stainless steel construction gives it a durable feel, and it helps ensure that your coffee is brewed at the right temperature for the best flavor extraction.I’ve noticed that with the diffuser in place, the coffee brews more evenly, and there’s less chance of burning or uneven heat distribution. It’s especially useful if you have a gas stove, as it helps prevent direct flame contact with the bottom of the pot, extending the life of your coffee maker. The only downside is that it can take up a bit of space in the kitchen, but for coffee lovers, the results are well worth it. Highly recommended for those who want to improve their coffee-making experience.

Your LIFESAVER for induction cook tops
I petsit for a living, I have the Bialetti Moka pot and there's several clients thatbhave induction cook tops rendering my coffee pot nil and void 😒This little plate is SPECIFICALLY made for moka pots and is a GAME CHANGER .. No issues what so ever now using both items together on an induction cook top. Very excellent purchase!!

Almost works too good
1st - I get no compensation from anyone. This is a WONDERFUL adapter for my new induction stove using the LuxHaus stainless steel Bialetti style coffee pot, without the crappy aluminum taste. It heated my pot so fast, I wasn't ready and had to turn it off! I'm glad I went with the Bialetti brand adapter instead of the cheaper one, which reviews said doesn't work as well. This thing is SOLID! And love the markings to help center the pot. Cleans OK with a green pad (yes, I spilled coffee on it when it was hot).If you're interested, I did figure out how to make good coffee with this style maker: I finally found how to use this properly from a Youtube by James Hoffman(?). Mine holds 12 oz. (360ml) of water. I put it in my tea kettle to boil while I filled the cup with finely ground coffee (1/2 way from drip grind to espresso) - 30 gm. not packed but shaken down and level. MUST be full I found out...same for water. Put the boiling water in the LuxHaus, closed it up. Put it on the heat & let it start to "perk" slowly until it started to sputter, removed it and ran cold water on the base to stop it (more in a minute). DELICIOUS! Now I got about 6 oz (180ml) cuz I should have just removed it from heat until stopped (maybe try the cold wet towel method) and put it back on until all the water ran thru. Definitely cool immediately when it sputters to avoid bitterness. Next time. But remember to have hot mitts on.

It works! But use with caution, and it's NOT made in Italy.
It works! But use with caution, and NOT made in Italy. This does indeed work with my induction stove, but I tried it with some trepidation after reading some reviews saying that it melts.I can imagine things going wrong if this adapter plate were used improperly, and I have to think that people who had problems probably either did not properly load this or walked away and left it, or used too high a heat setting. For me, I watched it like a hawk for the first several uses and crept the temperature up from a low setting to about 60 – 70 percent of my induction burners setting, which worked well for me. I found that the adapter plate did work and my stove had no trouble with it. It did not have an error, nor melt the adapter or the stove, but it did allow my Moka pot to make a nice cup of coffee!Still, I would only use this thing with the greatest of care and while paying attention to it at all time. It only takes a few minutes for this thing to work. So, walking away is a bad idea. Also, I can certainly imagine the plate easily overheating if placed on an induction burner without anything on it! Then, there would be no place for the heat to go other than into the plate, and can it safely dissipate that heat without a load? I think not. Finally, my stove has a preheat setting – it’s highest setting, which is used to get a pot of water boiling quickly. It will preheat for about 10 minutes and then drop back to the normal high setting. I think it would be a very bad idea to use that setting with this adapter plate! It could also be quite dangerous. This thing will get really hot if it has no load, which essentially negates the great safety features of an inductive cooktop. It would be like putting a small pot on an induction burner with nothing in it. And it is hot after the Moka pot is removed so don’t touch it – allow it to cool! I have been very careful to shut off the induction burner before removing the Moka pot.By the way, Bialetti has been playing fast and loose with it’s claims of “Made in Italy”. This thing is made in China! When I last checked, China was not part of Italy!

None better!
Nice and heavy and stands up to the heat. Heating is even across the plate. This does not let the bottom of the Mocca Pot to overheat on just in spots where the flame used to touch the bottom.
