A Must-Have for Everyday Use!
I recently purchased the Contigo Byron 2.0 Stainless Steel Travel Mug, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! This mug has quickly become an everyday essential for me, whether I’m commuting, working, or traveling. The stainless steel construction feels incredibly durable and high-quality, while the double-wall insulation keeps my drinks hot for hours. I’ve used it for coffee, tea, and even iced beverages, and it performs perfectly every time—hot drinks stay hot, and cold drinks stay cold! One of my favorite features is the Snapseal lid, which is both leak-proof and easy to use. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can toss the mug into my bag without worrying about spills. Plus, the design makes it easy to drink one-handed, which is perfect when I’m on the go.The 20-ounce capacity is just the right size to hold a generous amount of coffee without being too bulky. It also fits well in my car’s cup holder, which is a huge plus. Cleaning is a breeze, too—the lid is simple to take apart and wash, and the stainless steel body doesn’t retain any odors or stains.Overall, the Contigo Byron 2.0 is stylish, functional, and built to last. If you’re looking for a reliable travel mug that performs as well as it looks, I highly recommend giving this one a try!

Contigo offers great mugs.
My favorite water mug is Contigo. Can't go wrong with this item which holds 24 ounces of liquid. The mug has a black grip around it which allows you to hold a very cold item comfortably. The pop-up lid secures tightly preventing liquid from leaking out. Very reasonably priced for such a well-made product. Very happy with this purchase.

Good performance, practical, reasonably priced.
It's only been a few weeks but so far this Contigo snap seal 16oz is performing great. I bought it for work, but like it so much I started using it at home to keep my coffee hot. I just bought a 2nd so I can leave one at work. Nice job on this design. My only complaint is that occasionally I get a small amount of coffee pooled where the snap seal closes at the drinking spout. Then when I open it, the snap-open can spray coffee mist. Not great for white work shirts. Solution is to snap-open with the spout near your mouth or cover the spout first. Also like that the Amazon pricing for this one color is a few dollars less than the others, so it feels like a great discount.

Best Travel Mug I Have Found So Far
If I could give this a 4 1/2 stars, I would. Is this the best travel mug I have use? Yes, so far. I have spent a lot to find a travel mug that actually keeps my coffee hot. This is the closest I have found, and I even tried a Yeti. There are two things that I did not like about the Yeti. 1. The cover didn't seal, making it easy to spill. 2. It would keep the coffee relatively warm for maybe up to an hour, but that's all. This cup has a top that seals, and it keeps my coffee fairly warm (warmer than the Yeti) for four or more hours. AND, it was less expensive. Will there ever be a coffee cup that beats this one? Possibly. Hopefully. But until then, this is now my go to.

An "OK" Travel Mug
Mixed feelings about this mug. Starting with the pros:- It's compact for the volume - sort of short and squat, it fits under many automated coffee makers that other mugs won't, and should fit most car cupholders.- It does keep beverages warm (and cold). Not the best insulation (it's metal, but double-walled), but adequate for keeping hot drinks hot-ish and cold drinks cold-ish for a couple of hours.- It's relatively easy to clean, with a metal interior (except for the plastic lid), and the top is dishwasher-safe.- It's comparatively inexpensive, with a sleek, modern design. And the cons:- It has a metal base that tapers slightly to the bottom, making it less stable than a straight design and easier to tip over, and with no cushioning can scratch or dent furniture or damage floors if dropped.- The thin rim and short threads makes it easily cross-threaded, resulting in no doubt the numerous complaints of leaking. It actually seals very well when sufficiently tightened and with the lid closed completely, but takes some attention and effort to close.- The lid, as others note, is the weak point of this design. It can take two hands to open and close, and unlike other Contigo designs doesn't automatically close - it requires a firm snap. Opening can also be challenging to overcome the stiff closure, and there's no definite "stop" point when opening so there is a potential for damaging it. Since it requires some effort to close, in use it generally will stay open, so any tipping of the container (or if you forget and leave it open in your backpack), the contents will spill out. When open, the rounded lip can also cause liquid to pour out where you don't want it - like all over your clothes. In use, unless you close it each time you use it, it's a slight improvement over an open cup in that it (probably) won't spill its entire contents if tipped over or dropped. It's not the worst travel mug design, but it's not the best either, including among Contigo's own offerings. It's not bad, but the key word is "travel," and there are better mugs out there for that purpose, maybe not as cheap or as compact or even as nice looking, but worth exploring alternatives depending on your needs. Recommended, with comments as noted.

Superb Travel Mug!
So far, this is the best travel mug I've owned. It is fool-proof to operate, the lid when closed keeps the coffee inside and prevents leaks admirably. When the simple lever is lifted to allow one to sip, that's exactly what you get...a healthy sip. No more dribbling down my chin! This travel mug keeps my coffee HOT, for up to 3 hours, very warm for up to 5 hours, even in WINTER weather! It is easy to clean, but requires washing by hand...no dishwasher.

Brand New Contego Coffee Mug - 16 Ouncer
This is the only brand we choose for a travel coffee mug. The comfort of drinking is good. Fits in the holder great. We have always had the 20-ounce, but decided that at times the 16-ounce is more appropriate. It is perfect in size. These Contego mugs are easy to clean. I will soak the lids in white vinegar and sometimes peroxide just in case any germs remain after cleansing with soap and water. Coffee stays warm for hours. This mug is a good quality and great value for the money. Now that we have this one, we will have to get another one for me. ( :
