This is very secure, and has not damaged my patterned ceiling. I've had to move it a couple of times to get it just right and have had no problem with it. I taped grow lights to the upright post as it's in a not-very-bright spot and that seems to be working ok. I do wish it came with a couple more shelves.I have the shorter version of this for a window too and that has also worked great.

This plant pole was so easy to put together and is nice and sturdy. I saw someone mention that they needed two people and a level to install. I didn’t find it that difficult, as I put together and installed it myself, in 15 minutes, without issue. I loved the first one so much that I bought a second. I do not have super heavy plants hanging from the hang bar, but it seems sturdy enough also. The only thing that I would change is that it’d be nice if the top tier (the hangbar) could go up higher on the pole.

I loved the idea of this plant shelf for the corner. However, once you extend it for the height of your ceiling (mine is 9 feet) the "plates" that the plants sit on only fit on the bigger part of the pole, so I can't put any up higher. I had the thought to turn it over so the thicker pole will reach clear to the ceiling and the thinner part would be by the floor, but then I'm worried that the weight of the plants and the pole will push it together and not stay extended. Great idea, just wish the plates would snap onto the smaller pole as well.

Pretty sturdy! Can’t say how happy I am with this! I’ve been searching for something to put plants on for awhile now, and this was the perfect solution. I rent, and prefer not to mark up the walls or ceiling by screwing hooks and shelves up. Genius!

Bought this to turn into a playground for my chameleon. It’s easily adjustable, so I can change it up for him regularly and is sturdy to hold extra vines and perches as well as plants. Love the option to include hanging plants on the extender too. It was a breeze to set up. Comes with rubber buffers so ceiling and floor in my rental apartment won’t get scuffed. Happy plants, happy Cham!

The media could not be loaded. Set up was quick and easy. Material of the pole is strong and the shelves too. Holds my heavy 7" pot and smaller pots well. Easy to adjust the shelves. Overall excellent product and will buy again for the other rooms.

I could not figure out how to put them together. I did not realize that the little pole inside the pole came out and was used for the spring tension part. If that makes any sense.I was in the middle of the floor with an artillery of tools, going to force these poles together. I could not make it workI left it for a couple of days and came back to it and finally figured it out. The instructions are no help, but just know that there is a small tube inside of another tube and it comes out, this will make all the difference.

Packaged very well. Easy to assemble. Issue with the tightening part. Being plastic the threads has stripped. So far it is holding. I worry with plants . If it gives I may have a mess.
