Not easy to install and it rips easily.

Time to warm them pipes
I put this on my water pipes along with a heat tape and it works great, its not too thick to get in the way, fits in very tight places yet keeps in the heat, there is no adhesion so you'll need to tape one end when you first start it.

Goes on easy enough. I did have a mask on, gloves and smock, still got small parts inside. Not product fault, just mine. This product works very well

Made Winter Camping Possible
Location in Pine Mountain, Georgia. This product has gotten my RV through freezing winter camping nights with no water line freeze up. RECOMMENDED.

HARD TO INSTALL, FRAIL & CERTAINLY NOT 1" THICK AND EXPENSIVE
This fiberglass insulation product for water pipes just doesn't work. It is near impossible to install. I needed to insulate water pipes in a crawl space to help prevent freezing. I found it impossible to roll the product around the pipe without the product shredding. And it is nowhere near 1" thick. Actually less than 1/2". For me this product was a complete waste. Live and learn.

Works, slightly messy to I stall
This product works and is especially good for oddly shaped or placed pipes. However it was so messy to install (little bits of itchy fiberglass everywhere, should have worn a mask) that I ran to the hardware store and got the foam pipe insulation to put on most of the pipes.

adequate
Used to wrap 1 inch pex from my boiler in the basement. Any heat I can keep in the pipe is good for me. Easy to wrap provided there isn't a basement wall right behind your pipe.
