Awesome Concorde building set!
A cool looking classic British airways Concorde building set for 14 year old and over by Cobi.5 stars for the look of plane and is over 20" long! Just a amazing build set for a girl or boy to construct, that took me to finish in 8 hours. The Concorde comes with landing gears that's fragile but it holds the plane up and the wheels move also. The nose cone doesn't go up and down, like the real Concorde, to bad.The passenger's window decals is a little hard to lineup on the plane before sticky-glue drys up.The instructions book could be confusing because the pictures of the bricks are not clearly shown to compare to the real parts of the Concorde's bricks.I had to count the circle on the bricks or the knobs that's sticking-up to know which correct bricks to use.You want to use the correct bricks or the plane does't come out right. It sucks to dismantle plane and rebuild the parts over and over, again because you use the wrong part or size bricks.Cobi instruction book could be like the Lego instruction books, easily to read for the young builders. This Concorde is awesome to display with landing gears on my shelf and also on yours too!!So, go get yourself this classic/fastest passagner plane set for you or kid before it gets retired/discontinue at retail.

Concorde Review
Very nice replica of the Concorde. Fairly easy to build, with a couple of really minor issues regarding building instructions. Relatively sturdy construction and should make an excellent display model.

Cobi products are great replicas
My kids have built a lot of Cobi block models over the years. They all seem to be pretty well thought out with sturdy designs. My 11 year old has been wanting to build a Concorde block style model for a while now. And he really wanted one with the articulating nose section and retractable landing gear. But those models with the articulating nose all seem to be over 3 feet long. This Cobi kit is only about 20 inches in length, so a little more manageable. It does not have the articulating nose, and the landing gear only fold, they do not retract. And the stickers are a bit of a challenge to figure out. But the finished model is a nice representation of the Concorde, and seems consistent with Cobi’s design style.

SUPER cool plane - fun build!
I was happy that this was bigger than expected (I didn't read the details...!), and it was both a fun build AND a REALLY COOL plane/model! I'm a total dork for planes, so I got this and the 787 and I've been waiting to build the other one because I want to save the excitement. Only thing to note - the decals (for the windows) do NOT do well with being taken off and moved - even after a few seconds - so be SUPER careful when you put them on... I would even put down painter's take along the fuselage when I put them on my other model... Since they're a series of VERY thin strips of 'window,' it's not easy to get them at the right place on the plane AND the right angle AND match up from front to back - running a thin piece of masking tape or painter's tape would definitely help!

Beautiful
Beautiful model when completed. Has all the details of a real Concorde build is also fun not too difficult. My only nit pick are the stickers for the windows which are a bit annoying to get lined up correctly. But a little patience will get you through.

Life Cut Short
-General- My comments here apply to most, if not all of Cobi's building sets. So far I've built several of Cobi's ship and plane sets, soon to be truck/tank sets, and they are easily the go-to brick-building company for both military and civilian vehicle sets. I've looked into some of the other brick builders like Oxford and inFUNity, and they just didn't seem as polished and well thought out as Cobi. The unique and effective catalogue of bricks they use make for cleverly designed and built sets, which are extremely satisfying to construct, if you're coming from Lego's standard set of bricks. It's real nice not having to go to niche custom set designers for some really solid renditions of all kinds of vehicles. Their building instructions are a bit different to that of Lego's, which threw me for a loop at first, but I soon realized it's a better way of instructing. It makes it a bit clearer as to what bricks go where, especially with how similar some of their bricks can be. They also print a lot of the decals on the bricks, so no stickers! -Concord- Specific to this set, the Concord is a really stylish plane, and Cobi captured the wing sweep, engines, and British Airways livery quite well. They also managed to incorporate functioning landing gear and rudder, which is impressive for the scale. Unfortunately, this is a very sticker-heavy build. It takes an hour or so to complete the build.

The Concorde you always wanted
Very cool and accurate model. Only gripes are the nose won’t tilt (which would have made the model way more complex), and the front gear tends to collapse. The stickers are difficult, but not impossible to apply. But it’s a heck of a cool model and I love it
