Very comfortable grip
I bought these pens because they are the most comfortable pen I have used for long writing sessions, but just after hitting the purchase button, I checked the product reviews and found a number of complaints about their writing quality. This made me nervous that I may have made a mistake in buying defective pens but instead of canceling the order, I decided I'd give it a chance since I was not aware of a more comfortable pen. After they arrived 7 days after ordering (2 days earlier than the expected arrival date), I can finally put my fears to rest - the pens work fine with no issue. There is occasional ink skipping (see the scribbles at the bottom of my attached photo) but it is not as frequent as other reviews here claim, and does not hinder my ability to write or even read what I write.I'd definitely buy these pens again, but I suspect I won't need to go pen shopping for a while considering this package includes 16 pens and one lasted me a month with frequent use.

Not the pen I thought it was.
I bought these pens because I bought this exact pen at Winco and fell in love with it. When I got these I noticed they were a little different. The ink also cuts out while writing so you have to go over what you wrote. I didn’t have to do this before with store bought pen. The darker pen on the bottom of the picture is the amazon pen. Pen on top is from Winco. I wish these pens wrote smoothly and didn’t cut out while writing. They do work but just not like how I’m used to. At least you get a whole bunch of pens for a good price.

My favorite pens ever!
I started with the Bic Velocity .7 and fell in love with that pen. Then I found the gel version in the dollar store and was surprised to learn I liked the gel even more. They have a bold point and the ink rolls out very smoothly and boldly. Sometimes if you write on glossier paper, you have to wait for the ink to dry (otherwise it can smear) but I love the way they write - both how the ink feels and looks. I prefer this to other fine-point gel pens as I hate the way the finer point can "catch" on the paper and feel scratchy. When I had lost all my dollar store pens, I bought these and have bought another box since. I left one of these at my mom's house and only found out when she mentioned that she had a new favorite pen - the Bic Velocity .7. If you like a smooth pen with bold ink and don't mind occasional smudges then this is the pen for you. I pretty much always have one with me now.

Pretty good pens–if you don't mind letting the ink dry
I really like these pens because for some reason I like the feel of writing with pens that leave a trail of wet ink on the page–it seems classic or vintage or something. However, as I am left-handed, that feature can also come back to haunt me because my hand drags across the fresh ink and often smudges it. That being said, these pens are definitely much more prone to smudging than your typical ballpoint, and can also die on you occasionally. The pocket clips are also easily snapped off. However, when the pens work, which is the majority of the time, they write with a smooth, fine, rich black effect which I enjoy immensely. We are still working our way through this 15 piece mega pack and enjoying the experience.

BIC the biggest rip-off yet...
I guess I didn't read the Amazon reviews before I bought this BIC garbage. Every single pen was defective in the pack. EVERY SINGLE ONE FOLKS! They all skipped as I wrote... leaving a totally illegible mess on the paper, unless I went over each missed letter over again... hard to do... because the pens kept right on skipping as before. The Amazon return policy is great, but I couldn't remember where I got these pens from, until I saw my old order history on Amazon. I stuck with the first few of these pens I tried, but that was a very frustrating experience. Then I started going through the pack one-by-one, trying to find a few that would work. They all started skipping within the first few minutes of use. Like I said, I went through the entire pack! I was furious! Then I remembered that I got these pens to replace some other pens I bought from a big-box store awhile back: all those pens had a problem with the retractor device... AS IN, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE PENS. When I pushed the button, the pen would hardly stick out from the point... it would just barely be enough to write with... and I just found one of those pens on my desk and it is also a BIC brand: the BIC Soft Feel model. I will never buy a BIC pen again, I swear. I think you should do the same. At the very least, you should never buy the BIC Velocity[sic] Gel Retractable or the BIC Soft feel pens.

Great Pens, good price.
These pens are nice. I bought them from Amazon because I have a prime account and they were cheaper than buying then at the store. I like pens that roll easily and give sufficient ink when rolling. These do that. 4 stars simply because they don't have 5 star functionability with the amoun of ink that rolls out consistently; but they get the job done! Would recommend.

Good Pen Other Than The Ocassional Blobbing
Good pens with nice writing. The gel flows well and gives good results. My biggest negative about these pens is the fact that sometimes the ink will collect at the tip and need wiping away or cause a blot while writing. I have never had this problem with the Pilot G-2 07 pens and thus the 4-star rating.

Pretty good
The point is nice and fine, and the ink dries pretty quickly (no smudge). The only con , for me, has to be ttha the writing flow can be troublesome at times, depending on the paper being written on.Overall, I like these pens a good bit. For the price I paid, it definitely delived value. I would repeat the purchase.
