Works great!
It works great! The cabinet door under the sink in the kitchen was dry and dull from getting wet so many times. It looked like the only solution was going to be to replace it. I tried this product on it and it restored it completely. It looks perfect now. It looked pretty good with one application, but required several applications to get it to match the other cabinets, but it eventually got there, I reapply whenever it starts looking dull, it save me the money and hassle of having to replace the cabinet.

Brought life back to my 100 year old gramophone
This gramophone has been around longer than every person who might read this review has. Its sound got someone through the stock market crash of '29. It was a nostalgic relic through a devastating world war. It spent many a year languishing in dusty attics. It was dry, dull, and thirsty.I've never used a Howard's product before. I've never restored anything before. This was my first time doing anything like this. So, total newbie.Just look at it. It looks even better in person (and looked even worse, too). Incredible product. And for how easy it is to use? Few things in life go so smoothly. I couldn't believe it. I followed up with the feed n wax as they recommend. My antique is looking beautiful again! I was so pleased to have been able to restore it and keep the original finish intact rather than refinishing. No sanding, stripping or tears required. 10/10 from me.

Works as is stated..easy and fast
This product works as stated ! Dries quickly, has nice luster, and did not smell..I used a rag to apply and buff in. Not difficult at all.BUT..the size is 1/2 the size that sold at other home improvement stores at same price! So NO, this SIZE is not a good value. That said, I have alot of cabinets and the can is still 3/4 full. Product goes far! (Bought a Walnut color as to not add to the red tone of my wood) it worked!

IT WORKED. REMOVED WATER SPOTS FROM CHINA CABINET
I didn't know this would work. I had an old china cabinet of my moms (maybe from 1950?) that had seen some things. Anyway, the dogs water dish had been splashing on it for years, and the bottom was looking rough, water splashes had left round marks, taking off varnish. I gently rubbed this stuff in, and it was like magic. It almost erased the problem; you have to get close to still see it. I was going to throw out the cabinet, but it's back in the corner, holding the specialty dinner ware again, and I'm happy!

It's not magic...
Our back door was installed when house was built. That makes it over 40 years old. The sun shines on one side of the door the first thing in the morning until 1 or 2 in the afternoon. There are several sun faded areas because of that. I used the Restor-A-Finish with 0000 steel wool then wiped it off with a clean cloth. So - it didn't cover the sun faded areas to match the rest of the door; but, I didn't expect it to. The sun fades are a little darker after application, and I'm good with that. Really don't think it's necessary to apply the product with steel wool. Think the same results would have occurred with rub on/rub off with clean cloths. After applying I waxed it with carnauba car wax. The inside of the door that doesn't get sun, turned out very nice. The sun faded side of the door isn't perfect, but don't think anyone is going to open the door and examine it. In other words what they don't know won't hurt them.I highly recommend the product for ease of application along with very nice results. Just have an open mind because it's not magic.

Freshens wood but didn’t fix problems I’m having with the piece of furniture
Prob a good product. Didn’t do for me what it claimed to do with water spots. I’ll further research

This stuff is magic
In my younger days I stripped and refinished a lot of furniture. It's fun but a mess. This STUFF, allows you touch up a piece without all that work. The desk I have had some water stains,A few ink spots, etc. I used a sander sponge a bit on the piece and then used this. It looks gorgeous!10 minutes later! Hooray!

Does a wonderful job on those scratches and scrapes.
This is a great product. We recently moved and between moving and bringing back some items that were in storage, our early 20th century wood pieces looked terrible. They are all either mahogany or cherry, so I bought this in the mahogany color. One polish with this and everything looks so much better! Small scratches disappeared, beat up leather tops much improved, and even the most damaged piece, while still not perfect, is much better. I intend to let it sit awhile before trying it again on that piece. One bit of warning. It is very liquid. Do not try pouring it onto a cloth over your carpeting, or you will undoubtedly have a much bigger mess to fix!
