I ordered this on March 21, 2022 My PCP told me I needed to start exercising in a way that was better for my knees, so cycling it was. But I live out in the county and it is primarily gravel roads, so I ended up deciding to just get a stationary bike first. I'm a large man, 250lbs and 6ft6" tall so it was a lengthy search finding something in my budget that would work for me. My legs were still a little too long for this bike but it was close enough I could still use it without feeling overly cramped. Assembly was simple and it feels very robust, I was actually impressed by the weight and rigidity of the materials. I get zero flex or wobble after properly adjusting the feet heights on my tile floor. I had doubts about the durability of the belt drive system, but so far I haven't had any issues and it's definitely much more quiet than some older chain drive stationary bikes I remember riding in the past. There were a couple things that were a problem though. The bottle holder placement is very awkward while riding. You can't exactly coast on these like a regular bike so grabbing a water bottle while peddling is impossible for me, mostly due to my height. I really wish these had other optional mounting heights and locations. I'll likely drill higher holes and install some rivnuts to move it up. But for now I've just been stopping to take a drink. And the other issue was the seat. I absolutely HATED the seat on this thing. It did not fit my anatomy at all and was way too squishy in all the wrong places. I now have a properly sized Brooks bike saddle installed and it makes a HUGE difference. Soooooo much more comfortable! so much so that I can ride this thing for hours without my butt hurting. And The seat mounting bracket can be removed from the original seat and be transferred over to the new saddle. Was a very easy process. Also, based on the advice from a friend that is an experienced cyclist I determined where to better position the seat for my long legs and increase comfort even further. But to do this I had to modify the mounting bracket. Even after adjusting everything to the maximum position I still couldn't get a proper leg extension. But after the modification it is absolutely fantastic and due to the build quality I don't expect to need a replacement for many years. With the seat so far back I did occasionally rub the riser post with my thigh, but it's nothing painful, was just barely brushing up against it. But after getting some proper cycling bibs it never happens anymore due to the compression at the thing. So if you're slightly too tall for the bike, you can drill a hole in the seat post plate and flip the plate around and then bolt it on to get more length. BUT it's not easily adjustable now, so if you have multiple riders In the house I don't recommend this.

Wow...this Cycling Bike is the bomb... I absolutely love it. My husband was going to buy another cycling bike that was going to cost him $3,000. I suggested he check amazon and low and behold we found this bike. I was like -- I don't know -- is it good quality? Well let me tell you -- I'm glad we brought this Sunny bike. It tops the expensive ones. When it arrived, my husband opened the box and he hugged me and said THANKS HONEY -- you saved me a lot of money. I said to him you owe me...lol..lol. Okay.. the setup of the bike was simple you had to put on the seat, petals and front and back bottom bars, water bottle, few knobs -- at least that's what my husband said. He said it basically came already set up. The bike is very heavy... and I mean "heavy" -- I am a woman and I could not pick up this bike -- I tried and said forget it. Luckily it has wheels in the front for moving if need be. My husband just picks up the back part to move it. Its of very excellent, excellent quality. Not sure if this thing is all steel construction or what? Its darn heavy (which is a good thing). The bike is really sturdy --- does not move when you exercise. My husband put an exercise mat underneath -- just to protect the floor just in case it ever moves -- but I sincerely doubt it will ever move. Bars, seat, everything is sturdy when I ride. On the bars, it has a place where I can place my samsung pad for watching Youtube videos on cycling. If you have a smart tv you can also watch youtube videos on cycling. It's just perfect. Also, You have a place on the side to put your water bottle. Cons: Please, please if you do buy this bike you must buy a "seat cushion" first for extra comfort before you ride -- something plush or super soft. The seat is well made and it is hard -- guess its made to last. Can't say I didn't warn you. Now the bike does make a very slight, slight, slight noise but nothing to complain about. I really didn't notice it until I saw a review on amazon before I brought the bike that said it made a tiny noise. So when I brought the bike I listened out for it -- It's really nothing at all - you have to listen hard to hear it. I almost did not buy this bike because someone complained about the noise. Glad I did not listen to that review -- I would have missed out on this bike. I am going to definitely recommend this bike to my friends. So all in all I rate this bike 10 GOLD STARS!!! Its the best quality Cycling bike I have ever seen. Hope this helps.

Bottom line first: this bike is worth every penny and it's a terrific value for the money. Good points: the bike requires some assembly (pedals, the base, handlebars, saddle/seat) but even the mechanically challenged can do this in 30 minutes or much less. All the tools you need are supplied in the packing, and the nuts/screws are all arranged in bags you open sequentially (i.e., Step 1, Step 2, etc). This is one well made machine: very sturdy and built to withstand a nuclear explosion. The flywheel is nice and heavy and the ride is SUPER smooth and VERY quiet. The bike comes with pedals, but it's easy to use clipless pedals if you have them. The friction adjustor works well and is smooth. The wheels at the front of the bike make moving the bike around easy. Bad points: Comfort is poor. Now, maybe I have a supersensitive butt, but to me, the saddle is VERY uncomfortable and feels like you're sitting on rocks. Having said, that, however, it can be swapped out if you like with any regular seat you can purchase at a bike store, and I just happened to have a bicycle I could cannibalize...so problem solved. MUCH BETTER! Next, the handlebars. Incredibly uncomfortable. You can adjust the handlebar post so they go up and down, and the handlebars also move forward or backward...but even at the farthest back position, for a short person like me (5'6") with short arms, it's a real stretch to grab the front of the bars without laying out. Also, you can't change the angle/tilt of the bars--they're in a fixed position. Also, the bars are covered in a non-slip material which is VERY hard (not spongy or soft) and for me, they're hard on my hands and make riding uncomfortable, even for short rides (15 minutes or so). I wear riding gloves with gel palms which helps somewhat, but those bars are like rocks! It's a pity you can't use your own handlebars with this bike, but there's no way to attach them. Finally, this bike doesn't come with a computer of any kind (cadence, estimated calories, time, etc.), but I assume you'd be able to buy an aftermarket one that will do the trick. I recommend this bike and am happy I bought it, but if you want to get the most out of it, you're probably going to have to modify to somewhat.

I did a ton of research before purchasing this bike, and this may be the best fitness related purchase I have ever made! Like many others, I wanted a Peloton bike, but simply couldn't justify the price tag! This seemed like a great option, the reviews were solid, and for my budget, it seemed like the perfect solution. I am happy to say I am beyond satisfied. The bike arrived within 2 days. Box was slightly damaged but the bike inside was well protected and completely unharmed. As everyone has mentioned, this bike is HEAVY! Be prepared to have some help getting it in place. It comes pretty much assembled, and what wasn't assembled took me about 20 minutes to put together once I had the bike where I wanted it. All of the "tools" you need for assembly are included. You have to change out the stabilizer bars in the front and back (it comes with smaller versions attached for shipping purposes, each is removed with 2 bolts) you need to install the handle bars and seat (unscrew the bracket with your hands, put the seat and bars in place and replace the bottom of the bracket-took like 2 minutes each) 2 screws for attaching the water bottle holder, and then the pedals, which was probably the trickiest part. Be sure you have them on the correct side (there is a right and left with pedals!) and that you are threading in the proper direction. I myself did purchase Shimano double sided clip/clipless pedals as I prefer to use my cycling shoes which have cleats. That is the only upgrade I have made so far and the bike is still awesome! I downloaded the Peloton app, which is amazing but does have a monthly fee (though you can try it free for a few days without even giving out credit card info to see if you like it) There are also classes on YouTube which are free if you are turned off by the cost of the peloton app, but I absolutely love it. I use a heart rate monitor so I can see my calories burned on there. I could see myself possibly purchasing a sensor to monitor cadence at some point, though I find myself just keeping time with the instructor in the app works fine for me. MANY people have complained about the seat on this bike...however it is not unlike the seats on spin bikes at the gym, which DO take a few classes of riding to get comfortable with when just starting out. I did NOT feel the need to change it out or add a gel pad. Sometimes having a larger seat with more bulk is actually less comfortable. Overall, everything about this bike is super solid. The flywheel was well adjusted already and the bike is pretty darn quiet. (Sounding much like a spin bike at the gym). Also, I am able to move this bike around on my own quite easily now that it is assembled. It takes up a minimal amount of space too. For reference, I'm 5'2 and I am not adjusted to the lowest settings on the seat or bars, so it would work just fine for someone shorter in stature, and there's lots of room to adjust for taller folks. If this is your first experience on such a bike, I highly recommend you take the time to read or go on YouTube or and watch a video about bike set up. There are some specifics about positioning that will not only make your ride more comfortable, but will protect your knees from harm as well. Happy riding!

Very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this spin bike for the price. We had purchased the "ProForm 300 SPX Indoor Cycle Trainer" from Amazon and then sent it back because of the very, very poor workmanship and the damage incurred during shipment. But, this bike is a winner. Well packaged and arrived without any signs of abuse. Interesting that the ProForm bike had a bent front axle because the bike had been dropped and since there was nothing to support the heavy flywheel, the axle bent. With the Sunny bike it had an extra wooden block placed between the frame and the flywheel to minimize this risk, and with the much more sturdy frame the bent axle would be a rarity in my estimation. The seat is firm yet comfortable and is easy to adjust in height and from front to back. The handlebars have the same front to back adjustment mechanism and both are made from very stout steel. The chain cover is solid and well anchored and does not rattle. Bike has a very solid feel when standing or sprinting. Very quiet and and the tension adjustment is smooth. Overall, very pleased with this bike for the price. No, it's not in the same league with a commercial product built for the local gym, but for this price I don't think you can go wrong. Regarding some reviews about the pedals coming loose or stripping I can't comment other than to say that we put our own clipless pedals on and have not had a bit of problems with loosening. OK, there is one con: I had to drill an extra hole in the seat post to get it adjusted high enough for my 6'-3" height and long inseam. The seat and handlebars have holes that the adjustment knobs screw down into, but you don't HAVE to center them on the holes if you want a position that is in between two holes. I didn't know how well that would work, so I drilled my own hole just to insure that the seat would not move. Your call on this, but I'm pretty sure you could make it work without centering the adjustment knob on one of the holes. Kudos to Sunny for building a very nicely configured, affordable spin bike. For those of you still reading, here a bonus tidbit of info for you DIYer's: buy a 4'x6' Rubber Horse Stall Mat for about $40 and cut a 2ft strip from it with a jigsaw (course tooth narrow blade). Put that under the spin bike for a super solid, 3/4" thick, sweat proof, carpet protecting platform. Actually you could make 2 more of them from what's left and give them away to friends! 12/16/2016, Update: Had the spin bike for almost 2 years now and it has performed great. It gets used 2 or 3 times every week during the fall and winter months and it still solid and smooth. Still highly recommend this product! 1/27/2017, Another Update: Bought another one just like the first and it arrived in perfect shape just like the first. Amazon and Sunny teamed up to deliver excellent value and an excellent product!

I've taken spin classes in 6 gyms over more than a decade, I know what a spin bike should feel like. Gym bikes can be great, when they're well maintained. They are very heavy, strong enough to handle out-of-saddle power without feeling flimsy, smooth/quiet, and have a great range of easily controllable resistance. I've only had the Sunny for a week and have now ridden it five times. First encounter with the shipping box was surprising, the box was too heavy to carry. The bike has to weigh over 100 pounds which was/is an initial sign of quality. Unpacking was simple, the build was beyond easy. The only thing I could think of that could possibly confuse is that the left pedal is reverse threaded, like on an actual bicycle. First ride, very promising. The heavy frame is well designed and rigid, no concerns about stiffness or overpowering the bike. It's very quiet, watching a TV show would barely require raising the volume. The flywheel is 40 pounds which makes for a consistent feel at the pedal. I had a few concerns, all regarding resistance. 1) Touchy! A few millimeters separated light resistance from very heavy which made it hard to precisely dial it in. 2) Worse - The resistance also had a considerable random factor. Over a heavy pedal section, without touching the resistance the pedals went from manageable to overly heavy where I'd have to back off the resistance then add back on slowly. This isn't something you want to fiddle with when hammering. After a few more rides, I realized the issue was with cadence - a manageable resistance at say 90 rpm became harder at 70 rpm which had the perverse effect of feeding back on itself and rapidly stopping the flywheel. No bueno. I assumed especially the second problem could be just bedding in the brake which was obviously new upon delivery. Rides 2 - 4 weren't any better and I was preparing to message Sunny about it. I reviewed the manual which didn't touch on these challenges. There was a note about a monthly application of silicone-based lubricant. Looking on-line, this is a common suggestion for various spin bike brake issues so I got some and tried that. I put it on last night and did a hard ride today - fixed, 100%, on both concerns. It's only been one ride but my issue was narrow and has been completely solved. I think Sunny should include a small bottle in the package. The ride went from a 'pretty good, but . . .' to absolutely terrific. The bike rides as well as any gym bike I've been on. It's easily worth 5 stars and easily worth the price. I can't imagine I'm the only person that's had brake issues and even people that don't consider them issues would be tremendously benefited by having some silicone lubricant on the brake pad. So, so money.

I purchased this bike back in March of 2017 primarily for my wife. But I did do a lot of research and chose this bike because of it seemed to be very flexible in adjusting to the rider's size. Also it seemed a very good value. At the time I was doing the treadmill and didn't use it. But since the first of the year I began using it to do a HIIT type of interval training which involves 7 intervals of out of the saddle bursts for a minute or so at pretty much maximum output. I think I get a better workout with my heart rate getting up near my max rate than on the treadmill with less pounding on the feet and knees. My heels had began to bother me with the running. But back to the bike. It is very comfortable for my 5' 8" frame with an inseam of 30". My wife is 5' 2" with a 28" inseam. Not sure how it would fit someone over 6'. Have tried other spin bikes in local gyms and this bike is every bit as good as them except for not having a computer to display power or watts. The Keiser M3i had a computer which displays watts and the Schwinn AC performance carbon blue also had a computer which could display power although it wasn't working. The Keiser in my opinion was much better than the Schwinn but really not much nicer than the Sunny. Resistance and smoothness are about the same with the chain on this bike making barely noticeable noise. When I began using the bike I adjusted the chain for there was too much play in it and lubed it with some good bike chain lub I had left over from my bike riding days. In the past I have ridden in the Tour de Tucson twice finishing around the 5 hour mark. The race is a 111 mile ride around Tucson. Also did a lot of riding on Mingus mtn in the Jerome, AZ area. I did not like the Schwinn Ac at all. It was pretty used and everything was loose and I just found it uncomfortable. I liked the Keiser M3i but in reality it is not much if any better for my short 24 minute HIIT workouts. I think after a while the power meter would not be paid much attention too. I do have a Wahoo TICKR X heartrate monitor which I use which also gives cadence. So I measure my ride with the Wahoo Fitness App on my android phone by cadence and heart rate and use the timer to control my intervals. Works very good. The chain drive is very quiet and I don't expect any issues there. About the only thing that might require replacement is the felt pad but mine seems to be holding up very well. I have a bottle of 100% silicon treadmill lubricant (which I didn't like for the treadmill - get Treadmill Dr Ultimate Treadmill lube instead) which works great to lube the silicon pad. Once a month I put 5 or 6 drops on the flywheel in front of the pad and then move the flywheel back to bring it in contact with pad. Hope this review helps someone. I am very happy with this bike. If buying now I might consider one of the Sunny magnetic resistance bikes like the SF-B1714 but then that is double the price of this bike. This bike was a good deal. It is very solid and really feels stable out of the saddle!

I bought this thing for my wife who loves to spin. It's pretty simple to set up and is a fairly solid build. It spins smoothly although definitely not as quiet and smooth as the more expensive bikes I've tried. It's not noisy though, either. It's heavy enough to not move around while you're riding it and it's also really super easy to move (when you want to) thanks to the two littles wheels on the front base. My wife likes the heavier wheel on it as compared to some of the cheaper smaller bikes. As one other reviewer noted, the handlebars wiggle around a bit and, unfortunately for them, they didn't figure out that you can fix it by jamming a couple wood shims (from your local home improvement store) on both sides of the post up from the bottom of the neck. I did this and it's been totally fine ever since and much more solid than without. We ditched the pedals and just put SPD's on it so I can't tell you what the stock pedals are like; they're still in the plastic. The pedals going into the cranks don't seem as perfectly squared as my more expensive mountain bike but it's not a problem. It works well for someone in the 5'5" - 5'9" range but I'm not so sure it would be safe to setup for someone in the 6'+ range unless you are OK with the racing bicyclist positioning (low handlebars) due to the handlebars needing to be pulled up higher making the stability issue more prevalent. All in all I think it was well worth the money although I see that it is now more expensive than when we bought it. Still probably a good deal for the current price and certainly much cheaper than the next level of bike. Conclusion: I would recommend this to a friend unless you have disposable cash and can afford the pro stuff. It's good enough to get results and won't break the bank.
